1) Anna Santos is the vocalist of Latin band BON-BON BLANCO. She releases her solo work under just "Anna". Anna's father is Spanish American, and her mother is half Japanese. She used to be dual citizenship, but she chose to carry on her American citizenship when she became 18. However, she cannot speak English. Currently, she takes Career Design in Hosei University.
3) Anna were a four piece Rock Band from Croydon, England. The band consisted of four members: Pete Uglow, guitar / vocals; Darren Lynch, guitar ; Philip Lynch, bass guitar ; Cormac, drums / percussion / b. vox.
London, 1989: The "Electric MotherFucker Brothers" play their first gig at the Gun Tavern, Croydon - Philip and Daren had their heads shaved, Crom went mad and Pete wore pink, The press hated it.
Playing loud guitar music in the midst of the industry's love affair with baggy beats and floppy fringes, EMB continued to build their audience ...
In 1990 the band changed their name to ANNA.
With the name Anna, things started to happen, people started paying attention. And when they weren't they were joining in a weird variation on stagediving, the Croydon Pile.
Now legendary, the pile was a tribute to Anna and the two-inch high stage at the Rose & Crown in Croydon. Once your average stagediver had launched offstage is was difficult to do much more than lie on the floor and wait for more bodies to join the ruck. Anna once had to stop playing in the middle of their epic 'Masonic Youth' when the pile reached critical height and no-one could see them any more.
Banned from the Rose, the Pile still followed them from gig to gig, getting ever bigger, and getting Anna banned from ever more venues.
Their debut single 'Masonic Youth', though recorded in summer '91, was finally released through Go! Discs in May '92. Their Debut album 101ism was released through Free Records in Oct '93.
4) Anna is Boris Brejcha. One such revolutionary elements and surprise that occasionally appear (luckily) in the arena of electronic dance music. With a sound personal super blunt and direct, get to collect the best of each house. After his great maxis in harthouse and autist and his fantastic album recently released on the label of frankfurt "Die Maschinen Kontrollieren Uns" regular reaches under his pseudonym anna to make a lot of noise black is dynamic, aggressive, and extremely direct, breaking the dance floor!. Green combines the speed and forcefulness of the groove that boris has accustomed us, but with a happy ending. Melody and deep united forever..

Welcome to the land of fame excess am I gonna fit in
Jumped in the cab, here I am for the first time
Look to my right and I see the Hollywood sign
This is all so crazy, everybody seems so famous
My tummy's turnin' and I'm feelin' kinda homesick
Too much pressure and I'm nervous
That's when the taxi man turned on the radio
And the Jay-Z song was on
And the Jay-Z song was on
So I put my hands up, they're playin' my song
The butterflies fly away, I'm noddin' my head like, yeah!
Movin' my hips like, yeah!
Got my hands up, they're playin' my song
They know I'm gonna be okay
Yeah, Its a party in the USA!
Yeah, Its a party in the USA!
In the song "Let You In" by Anna, the lyrics describe the experience of a young person arriving in Los Angeles, specifically at LAX (Los Angeles International Airport), with big dreams and hopes of fitting into the world of fame and excess that is synonymous with Hollywood. The lyrics symbolize a journey into a new and unknown world, filled with excitement and anxiety.
The line "Welcome to the land of fame excess, am I gonna fit in?" reflects the songwriter's uncertainty about their place in this glitzy and larger-than-life environment. They express their awe and amazement at the sight of the iconic Hollywood sign, emphasizing the surreal feeling of being surrounded by famous and influential people. However, there is also a sense of nostalgia and longing for home, as the character feels homesick and overwhelmed by the pressure of their new surroundings.
The mention of Jay-Z's song playing on the taxi driver's radio serves as a moment of escape and reassurance for the singer. Jay-Z represents success and influence in the music industry, and hearing his song provides a familiar and comforting connection to their passion and ambition. It symbolizes a moment of relief amidst the overwhelming emotions, allowing the singer to feel a sense of belonging and confidence.
The chorus, "So I put my hands up, they're playing my song/Belly butterflies fly away, I'm nodding my head like, yeah!/Movin' my hips like, yeah!/Got my hands up, they're playing my song/They know I'm gonna be okay/Yeah, it's a party in the USA!" captures a sense of liberation and self-assurance. The singer embraces the music and lets it guide their body movements and emotions, giving them a sense of freedom and joy. Despite the initial uncertainties and anxiety, the song expresses the belief that they will ultimately find their place and thrive in this new environment, turning their journey into a celebration. The chorus becomes a mantra of self-assurance and a declaration of readiness to embrace the party atmosphere of the United States.
Overall, "Let You In" by Anna delves into the emotional roller coaster that one can experience when entering a new and unfamiliar world, specifically the glamorous world of Los Angeles. It captures the feelings of awe, fear, excitement, and insecurity that can come with chasing dreams and aspiring to fit in amongst the famous. Through the use of vivid imagery, references to popular music, and a liberating chorus, the song ultimately celebrates the singer's ability to navigate this journey and promises a future of confidence and success.
