Vocalist Hammer departed in late 2002, replaced by US tour roadie Jimmy Rose, a Parma, Ohio native then living in Oakland. In June 2003 they recorded the Bad Reputation EP for the now-defunct DeadAlive Records.
Second guitarist Sanitate then stepped down, replaced by Cleveland native Shaun Filley. This line-up--Clise, Grande, Molino, Filley and Rose--would remain stable for some time, touring the US several times and Europe twice. The first European excursion would yeild a recording in Den Haag, Holland in May 2004 that would become the notorious II LP, followed up in January 2006 by the Cosmic Unconsciousness EP on Tankcrimes Records.
At the end of 2006, Filley and Molino left; Noel Sullivan took up the drums, and Wes Wilson joined on second guitar. This lineup recorded Annihilation Time III: Tales of the Ancient Age for Tee Pee Records at the end of 2007.
After the split Annihilation Time went on to form Lecherous Gaze.

Annihilation Time Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
It's the end of a smoke,
That's all you get, swallow shit and choke.
You send over your little bitch,
You're afraid of the reaction you'll get?
Dogends,
Bloody dogends.
This place always smells like piss,
Send over your little bitch to say your piece
You fucking chicken shit.
Dogends,
Bloody dogends.
Annihilation Time's song "Dogends" portrays a harsh reality that often exists in low-income, urban areas. The lyrics describe a scene of poverty and desperation, where the only solace is in consuming alcohol and cigarettes. The repetition of the phrase "dogends" emphasizes the theme of waste and decay. The term refers to the remains of cigarettes that have been smoked down to the filter, suggesting a disregard for one's own health and well-being. The singer is surrounded by a bleak environment that smells like urine and is unstable when it comes to paying rent. In this world, one must constantly be on guard, sending "little bitches" to do their dirty work, as they are afraid of the potential consequences of speaking up for themselves.
The song's aggressive tone could stem from being fed up with the constant struggles of such an environment, which eventually create a pervasive sense of hopelessness. The only way to cope is to achieve a state of numbness, either through substance abuse or emotional detachment. The song creates a potent atmosphere of despair to relay this message to listeners.
