Having started singing at two years old, the New York State native took second place in a national Radio Disney competition and he hasn’t looked back since. His big break came in April 2007 with the posting of a YouTube video. The unforgettable video of 7-year-old Gargiula singing the national anthem generated more than 4.5 million views on pure word-of-mouth buzz, making him an overnight sensation. This excitement landed Gargiula multiple national appearances on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and The Today Show as well as opening act opportunities for national headliners The Jonas Brothers, Lady Antebellum, and most recently Kellie Pickler. He has been a fixture around the country, singing the national anthem at major sporting events, most notably the National Baseball Hall Of Fame Induction twice, NASCAR’s Sylvania 300 and the Belmont Stakes.
Two-and-a-half years after the posting of that infamous YouTube video, Anthony was introduced to some Grammy award winning LA music producers. They immediately went to work recording a cutting edge project during which Anthony proclaims to the world “age ain’t nothing but a number.” The music industry believes that Gargiula’s talent combined with his swagger and his spunky personality will make him appealing to fans of all ages. The older crowd loves Anthony because his music and personality are real, cool and family friendly. His peers love his music because it’s relevant and speaks their language.”
Writing songs around the house with his older brother Louis, playing the piano for the last five (6) years and also recently filming two episodes of a new television show on Starz Family, “The Wannabes,” Anthony has become a quadruple threat (singer, songwriter, musician and actor). A volcano of pure artistic talent waiting to erupt, Anthony Gargiula will clearly be a force in the entertainment universe for years to come on many different levels. A pop icon in the making, Anthony is just getting started and the best is yet to come!
2011 was an amazing year for Anthony and 2012 seems to be continuing in that direction. In March of 2011, Anthony returned to Madison Square Garden to sing the National Anthem for the NY Knicks again. It’s always such an awesome audience there. He also sang the Anthem for the second year in a row at the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame Induction in Cooperstown, New York. He is still the youngest singer to ever sing on that stage and the ONLY singer to be asked to sing the Anthem two years in a row. There were many other local performances but the big news of 2011 was the 3 trips to Nashville. In July, Anthony went to Nashville and met with some record label folks. They loved him and his new original music that he is writing himself, that they asked him to come back So, in August he returned. He got to meet with the record label again and perform four of his original tunes. For three of the songs he accompanied himself on piano but for one of them, his brother, Louis, (15) accompanied him on guitar. The label once again was very impressed. They want Anthony to record some of his new music and then submit it to them so they can decide what the next steps will be. The highlight of the Nashville trip had to be when Anthony performed one of his new songs at the "Blue Bird Cafe" The Bluebird is a very famous venue where anyone who is someone in the country music world has performed at in their early years. It was amazing.
The biggest event of 2011 was when Anthony and the AG Dance Crew were asked to open up for former American Idol contestant and country music Diva, Kellie Pickler at the Fonda Fair. It was an amazing experience. Kellie has been a long time favorite of Anthony's ever since she was on American Idol so having him open up for her at one of her concerts was so much fun. After the concert, Anthony signed autographs for an hour. Security actually had to ask Anthony and the fans to step to the side because Kellie was ready to come out and perform. It was a ton of fun.
The end of 2011 was filled with many performances at fairs, schools and local venues here in New York.
2012 started with Anthony playing Lieutenant Branigan in his Middle School's production of "Guys and Dolls." He also performed at the Center for Disabilities Telethon for the fifth year in a row. Coming up, Anthony will once again be at Madison Square Garden singing for the NY Knicks in March, a performance with the AG Dance Crew in February at a local mall for a winter festival, and many other performances on the horizon. Anthony is already booked at four fairs in New York State for this summer and hopes to start recording some of his new original songs in either Boston, Nashville or New York City in the very near future.

You never used to
And it’s been a month
Since I had to choose toWalk out and leave you with all your new friends
Why’s it so hard now to wish you the best?
I know
That it’s for the betterTrying to change you was useless
You made a million excuses
Feeling like I don’t know you anymore
Was it easy?
You didn’t try too hard to keep me
It’s a losing game
Out of my control
Wish I could’ve stayed
But you made
Saving this impossibleI wrote you love songs
That no one will hear
‘Cause all of the parts that I loved,
Oh, they disappeared
and now it’s so clearThat trying to help you became a lost cause
Blame everyone but yourself for your flaws
I knowTrying to change you was useless
You made a million excuses
For the stone cold lies and the slamming doors
Feeling like I don’t know you anymore
Was it easy?
You didn’t try too hard to keep me
It’s a losing game
Out of my control
Wish I could’ve stayed
But you made
Saving this impossibleOoohh, You made saving this impossibleTrying to love you is just a lost cause
Blame everyone but yourself for your flawsTrying to change you was useless
You made a million excuses
For the stone cold lies and the slamming doors
Feeling like I don’t know you anymore

The lyrics to Anthony Gargiula’s “Impossible” describe a toxic relationship that has reached its breaking point. The singer reflects on how their partner has changed, becoming someone who drinks and hangs out with new friends, unaware or uninterested in the damage being caused to their relationship. Despite the singer’s attempts to change their partner, they are met with resistance and excuses, leaving them feeling hopeless and powerless. The chorus emphasizes the futility of trying to save the relationship, as it has become impossible due to their partner's unwillingness to change and take responsibility for their actions.
The use of imagery in the lyrics conveys the emotional weight of the situation. The reference to the “stone cold lies and slamming doors” illustrates the impact of the partner’s behaviour and how it has hurt the singer. The line “Trying to love you is just a lost cause” highlights the despair and resignation felt by the singer; they have given up on the relationship and finally realised that they can’t help their partner if they are unwilling themselves.
The song's meaning is relatable to anyone who has experienced the breakdown of a relationship due to a partner’s refusal to change their harmful behaviour. It is a poignant reflection on the painful process of letting go and coming to terms with the fact that some things are impossible to save.
