I love Nickelback and Creed because of my father. I feel like the odd one out when I like bands that most people don't. If you people don't like a band, that doesn't give you a reason to hate people that do. That's childish. Grow up. Nickelback isn't the only band to recycle the same things, AC/DC did it too. It's pretty simple. They played Nickelback on the radio SO FUCKIN MUCH that ppl got tired of hearing them, ppl thought they went totally pop, and Chad just got a lot of hate for being himself lol. When you get famous ppl are gonna hate. FUCK EM if you like the band, you like the band. I think Chad is a really good musician that def has a knack for writing good songs. I'll give you an analogy the best I can. Once upon a time there was generation and withen that generation was a minority of people that loved bacon. Ate it everyday and it was inexpensive because most didn't eat it every meal with everything. Then along came a mascot working for the bacon industry. Memes everywhere the eye could see. "Bacon is best. " Bacon, bacon, bacon!" They made bacon popular, more expensive and even changed it so that it was thinner and had smoke "flavor" but not truly smoked. The bacon lovers of the past, the original, hated the mascots and memes and corporations that ruined bacon for them while the newfound lovers of bacon couldn't understand why some complained.
