The band formed in late 2009, right after the breakup of the original mother band ("Remembering the Steel" Pantera Tribute) where the three of the founding members met. The idea to form and to create this band came from front man Andras Aron "Apey".
The band's first debut Better Maxi was published on June 26th of 2010 on the internet.
14th of March 2011 a year later the band released "The Day Ends" EP with 5 heavy tracks which was recorded by Gabor Banhazi at R33 STUDIO.
After touring for months the band's last show was an opening for Keith Caputo in Budapest 2011.
In 2012, 26th of July, after a year of silence the band reunited at Club R33, than a short summer festival tour and the band soon began working on their first full length album again with the same method with Gabor Banhazi producer, sound engineer at R33 STUDIO.
The band released a music video for the track 'JUDAS' of the upcoming album.
'DEVIL'S NECTAR' was officially released on 13th of June, 2013.

Az Apey & the Pea 2009 végén alakult a Neck Sprain, a Trillion és a már feloszlott Kelly Hits the Blue Sky illetve a Remembering the Steel (Pantera tribute) énekesének, Áron Andrisnak (Api) a szolo projectjéből átalakuló Stoner, Grunge trioja, ezenkívül még tagok Prepelicza Zoltán (Wrong Side of the Wall, ex- Superbutt, ex-Remebering the Steel), Makai László (The Last Charge, ex- Superbutt, ex- Remembering the Steel).
A zenéjükre leginkább jellemző stoner, blues elemek a 90-es évek harmóniáit elevenítik fel két szólamú "seattle-i" hangzású énekeikkel. A zenéjük alapköveiben azonban érzékelhető a sludge, a groove metal, illetve a lassú doom vonal is mely legnagyobb hatásaiktól származik mint pl Pantera, Down, Crowbar, Black Sabbath.
A trió debütáló két számos lemezelőzetese "Better Maxi" néven lett meg jelentetve az interneten 2010. Junius 26-án.
Ezután egy évvel később 2011 március 14-én jelentették meg az öt számos The Day Ends című anyagukat.
Az utolsó koncertet 2011 augusztusában adták a Dürer kertben Keith Caputo előtt, ezután Api Londonba költözött. 2012 júniusában ismét visszatért Magyarországra, így egy év hallgatás után a zenekar ismét összeállt. Napjainkra a zenekar az egyik legérdekeltebb stoner banda lett a magyar undergroundban.
2012 nyara után a csapat erőteljesen elkezdett dolgozni az új anyagán melyet 'DEVIL'S NECTAR'-nak kereszteltek.
2013 Február 8: Indul a "JESUS SMOKES FROM OUR BONG" 14 állomásos országos és külföldi turné mely május 11-én ért véget a Dürer kertben.
Június elején a zenekar megosztotta az első hivatalos videoklipjét mely a 'Judas' c. számra készült.
2013 JÚNIUS 13-án megjelent a "DEVIL'S NECTAR" 9 számmal.
