Côte de Bœuf
Man, these are all really nice. Instead of trying to make the songs into something else, these "remasters" merely try to enhance the songs on their own terms, making them better versions of themselves. I wish that more people would think to do this; the entire reason one remixes a song is that you like it for what it is already. Not to disdain other efforts at re-interpretation, of course; it's simply that I appreciate this specific approach very much.

These aren't remixes, they're remasters ("mastering" the sound of the original song). Two different things kinds of things. Remixes incorporate artistic liberty and can be good... if done right.

I honestly never had much trouble with this dungeon, either the first time through, or revisiting it! :D

Surprisingly I had a lot more trouble in Quicksand Pit than Amp Plains, and I played as Totodile

But Chatot had nothing to do with this dungeon. We can't blame him for everything.

I've waited years for an amp plains remix of this caliber.
Thank you.

Remastered is making the same song but with better audio quality and little room for change where it comes to composing
Remix is adding personal touch and style to a song, ider upper beat, lower bit, more techno, a bit more orchestrated, but it only uses the original song as a basesv just a gideline, but it can easily be a rather diferent song
A reharmonisation is taking a song and making it suit another kind of music, ider adding or changing instruments or changing the tempo, remaining more true to the original that a remix, though not as much as a remastered

Greensabr200 | HCF & MineZ 2 Not at all! A remix is making a theme more upbeat and over the top. A remaster takes the original piece, and improves upon it, while at the same time, sticking to the original 'feel' of the piece.
