Wifi
Arce Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Fuimos de mal en peor
De repetir el error
Llevo diez años de noches en vela
No tengo ni hambre, doctor
Los días con el tenedor
Desayuné mi licor
Expandimos la fe como el ébola
Crecimos con un todo por ganar
Sin cheles ni horas de trabajar
Escondido en un parque fumando más
No fuimos de ruina, ni de robar
De Galicia, acostumbrado a traficar
Oye primico córtate ya
Que estoy escuchando eco en el celular
Bro, tu millón, te lo dije
Aprendí con mil cicatrices
Ya nadie me dice: "¿qué dices?"
Todos chupan de mi wifi
De noche buscando a la reina
Los yonkis gritandome wake up
De calle, vendiendo la cheira
Con catorce años en Ortigueira
Más de mil me morí como Kenny
Por vivir a lo Rocco Siffredi
Cambiando los gramos por tenis
Pablo murió, tú, mucha peli
Bro, tu millón, te lo dije
Aprendí con mil cicatrices
Ya nadie me dice: "¿qué dices?"
Todos chupan de mi wifi
Sin esperar ni una flor
Con el alcohol de motor
Y ni Dios alrededor
Quiero subir y empujar la escalera
Ya me quede sin amor
Ahora me siento mejor
Los yonkis gritandome "wake up"
De calle, vendiendo la cheira
Con catorce años en Ortigueira
Más de mil me morí como Kenny
Por vivir a lo Rocco Siffredi

The song "Wifi" by Arce delves into the struggles of his past, talking about his experiences with drugs, crime, and poverty. The first verse talks about the difficulty of changing his ways and the constant repetition of his past mistakes, leading to sleepless nights for the past ten years. The second verse talks about his rise to fame and success, but how it came at a cost. He compares the spread of his fame to the spread of Ebola and talks about the lack of work he had to put in to achieve his success due to his privileged position. He also mentions his past as a drug dealer and being accustomed to that way of life.
The chorus talks about how he warned his friends about the pitfalls of success and how he has learned from his scars. He also mentions how everyone is now "sucking" off of his success and fame.
The third verse talks about his past struggles, including being addicted to drugs, being pushed by his peers to wake up, and selling drugs at a young age. He also mentions the death of Pablo, perhaps a reference to Pablo Escobar or a friend, and how people put on an act in front of him.
The final verse talks about his current state of mind and how he has no love left, choosing to value his own time and believing in himself rather than in others. He mentions his years of hard work and how he has found his own value, which cannot be bought with any amount of money. He ends the song by stating that everyone wants to be king, but he has been there and done that.
Overall, "Wifi" is a raw and introspective look at Arce's past struggles and how he has learned from them. The song is a cautionary tale about the price of fame and how it can come with its own set of struggles.
