Through the tides and to the deserts
Locked into ourselves
We're locked unto ourselves
There's nothing real here
It's all in our heads
We are the riders who
We'll ride to the end of the earth
I'll ride all night to be with you
I'll ride all night to be with you
From dusk till dawn
We'll find our way
To plunder all our dreams
And murder all our deeds
To murder all our deeds
The rain that will fall
Will wash blood from our hands
We are the riders who
Will ride to the end of the earth
We'll ride to the end of the earth
I'll ride all night to be with you
I'll ride all night to be with you
The song "Riders" by Archie Bronson Outfit tells the story of a journey of self-exploration and discovery. The lyrics speak of a group of riders who journey through deserts, tides, and darkness, locked into themselves with only each other for company. The riders are seeking something that is not real, something that can only be found within themselves.
The line "It's all in our heads" suggests that the riders are on a quest for something abstract, perhaps a sense of purpose or meaning. The idea of riding to the end of the earth represents the desire to push beyond the boundaries of what is known and to explore the unknown.
The chorus, "I'll ride all night to be with you," suggests that the journey is not just a physical one, but also an emotional one. The riders are seeking a deeper connection with themselves and with others.
Overall, the song is a poetic and evocative exploration of the human desire for adventure, self-exploration, and connection.
