Grande's second studio album, My Everything (2014), continued the pop-R&B sound of its predecessor and incorporated EDM elements. It topped the Billboard 200 and featured four US top-ten singles: "Problem", "Break Free", "Bang Bang", and "Love Me Harder" featuring The Weeknd, the most of any artist that year. Grande's pop-R&B styles extended on her third studio album, Dangerous Woman (2016), which was her first of three consecutive number-one albums in the UK, and spawned top ten hits such as the Grammy nominated title track and "Side to Side".
On her next two albums, Sweetener (2018) and Thank U, Next (2019), Grande experimented with trap while maintaining her characteristic pop-R&B tones; being projects with her most creative control yet and showing a more personal and vulnerable side, both debuted at number one in several countries and were acclaimed by music critics. The former won a Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Album and spawned the international top three hit "No Tears Left to Cry", while the latter broke several streaming records. Grande became the first solo artist to hold the top three spots on the Billboard Hot 100 simultaneously when "7 Rings", "Break Up with Your Girlfriend, I'm Bored" and "Thank U, Next" did so in 2019. She is also the first artist to have the lead singles from each of their first six studio albums debut within the top ten in the US.
Grande released her sixth studio album, Positions (2020) with its lead single, "Positions" debuting at number one in the US and the UK simultaneously. The song became her third number one hit in the US following "Stuck With U" in collaboration with Justin Bieber and "Rain On Me", also in collaboration with Lady Gaga. A deluxe version of Positions was released in February 2021, with four new songs and a remix of "34+35" featuring Doja Cat and Megan Thee Stallion. The remix helped the song peak at number two, the highest-charting song credited to three or more female soloist since 2001 when "Lady Marmalade" performed by Christina Aguilera, Mýa, P!nk, and Lil Kim peaked at number one. The album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, becoming her fifth album to do so. In April 2021, a remix of The Weeknd's "Save Your Tears" was released featuring Grande. The song reached number one in both the US Hot 100 and the Canadian Hot 100. It spent a total of 69 weeks in the US charts, becoming one of the ten longest-running songs in that chart since its publication.
In November 2021, it was announced that Grande would star in the two-part film adaptation of the musical Wicked. The movie is set to release on November 24th, 2024.
Ariana Grande’s highly anticipated seventh studio album “eternal sunshine" was released on March 8th, 2024. The title references to one of her favourite films, “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind” which stars Jim Carrey. The lead single “yes, and?" was released on January 12, 2024. This song was inspired by Madonna’s “Vogue”and captures the sound of house. eternal sunshine had a debut at #1 on the Global Spotify charts, and earned the most streamed album in 2024 so far.
Grande has received various accolades, including two Grammy Awards, one Brit Award, two Billboard Music Awards, and three American Music Awards. All five of Grande's full-length albums have been certified platinum by the RIAA. As one of the leading streaming pioneers in the world, she has amassed over 35 billion streams on platforms like YouTube, Spotify, and Apple Music and is the most listened female on the latter two. An influential figure on social media, she is an outspoken feminist and supporter for LGBT rights. She asserts control over her public image and is known for her ponytail hairdo and bold fashion statements. In February 2019, she became the most followed woman on Instagram. Forbes ranked her amongst the highest-paid celebrities in 2019, and Time named Grande as one of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2016 and 2019. Billboard recognized her as the "Woman of the Year" in 2018.
Breathing
Ariana Grande Lyrics

Way too much of my energy
I look up and the whole room′s spinning
You take my cares away
I can so over-complicate, people tell me to medicate
Feel my blood running, swear the sky's falling
I know that all this -′s fabricated
Don't know what else to try, but you tell me every time
Just keep breathin′, and breathin′, and breathin', and breathin′
And oh, I gotta keep, keep on breathin'
Just keep breathin′, and breathin', and breathin′, and breathin'
And oh, I gotta keep, keep on breathin', mmm-mmm
Sometimes, it′s hard to find
Find my way up into the clouds
Tune it out, they can be so loud
You remind me of a time
When things weren′t so complicated
All I need is to see your face
Feel my blood running, swear the sky's falling
I know that all this -′s fabricated
Time goes by and I, can't control my mind
Don′t know what else to try, but you tell me every time
Just keep breathin', and breathin′, and breathin', and breathin'
And oh, I gotta keep, I keep on breathin′
Just keep breathin′, and breathin', and breathin′, and breathin'
And oh, I gotta keep, I keep on breathin′, mmm-mmm, yeah
My, my air, my, my air
My, my air, my air
My, my air, my, my air
My, my air, yeah
Just keep breathin', and breathin′, and breathin', and breathin'
And I, and oh, I gotta keep, I keep on breathin′
Just keep breathin′, and breathin', and breathin′, and breathin'
And oh, I gotta keep, I keep on breathin′, mmm-mmm, yeah
Feel my blood running, swear the sky's falling (oh, whoa)
I keep on breathin′ (oh, yeah)
Time goes by and I, can't control my mind
I keep on breathin', mmm-mmm, yeah
The lyrics to Ariana Grande's song "Breathing" convey a message of finding solace and peace in the midst of chaos and overwhelming circumstances. The song speaks to the moments when life feels too demanding and draining, when the world seems to be spinning and everything becomes too complicated. It portrays a struggle with anxiety and stress, as the singer mentions that people tell her to medicate and that she can't control her mind.
However, amidst this chaos, the song suggests that the solution lies in taking deep breaths and finding inner strength. "Just keep breathin', and breathin', and breathin', and breathin'" is repeated throughout the song as a mantra, emphasizing the importance of staying grounded and composed during difficult times. The singer finds refuge in the presence of someone who takes away her cares and reminds her of a simpler time.
The lyrics also touch upon the theme of self-preservation and the importance of blocking out negative influences. The line "Tune it out, they can be so loud" signifies the need to ignore the noise and distractions that can cloud one's mind. The song encourages the listener to keep pushing forward and not give up, as reflected in the repetition of "I keep on breathin'."
Overall, "Breathing" is a powerful and uplifting song that encourages resilience, self-care, and finding inner strength amidst overwhelming situations.

to all the haters saying "ariana get over it, you're so sensitive"
ok, but did u know:
1. when ariana was 8 years old, her parents got a divorce
2. she was bullied in school
3. her grandpa died of cancer after she dropped her 2nd album
4. over 20 people died at her concert when there was a suicide bombing, and many many more severely injured. ariana was getting blamed for this even though she had nothing to do with it.
5. her ex aka her best friend still mac miller had an accidental overdose and died while they were still very in touch
6. she broke of an engagement with pete because she still loved mac. in ghostin, she sang "though i wish he were here instead/don't want that living in your head/he just comes to visit me/when i'm dreaming every now and then"
7. and not to mention, she is diagnosed with ptsd (post traumatic stress disorder) and has severe anxiety
8. she gets hate everyday
but do you still see her giving up? no. she is one of the strongest most brave women i have ever seen. yeah, some people have been through s*** that u don't know about. but she still keeps breathing. so think twice before calling someone sensitive
