In 2006, he also remixed the Geyster tune "Under The Fuse of Love", hammered by Pete Tong and number 2 on the UK Club Charts for several weeks. He produced several mixes with The Freshmakers that year, including a remixes of Serial Crew (Boss), Da Sushiman (Ledge Music) and Rilod (Nice Music), the famous Michael Jackson cover.
But Arno's success solidified with "Magenta" the tune he composed with Arias. It was initially signed on Serial Records, and later on Kontor, CR2 and Airplay and was supported by international Djs such as Pete Tong, Bob Sinclar, Tom Novy, Ian Carey, Sebastian Ingrosso. First released in December 2006 in Germany with Dave Spoon (Toolroom) and Tom Novy (Kontor) remixes, Magenta was featured in "The Amsterdam Dance Event".
From an early age, Arno immersed himself in pop music and disco through his parents, and began to produce in 1999 in his bedroom. Arno's music is mostly inspired by Disco, Italo Disco, the "French Touch" (Daft Punk, Benjamin Diamond, Alan Braxe, Philippe Zdar...) and artists like Stuart Price, Axwell, Lifelike, Eric Prydz, that Arno has always admired.

Arno Cost & Arias Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
I’m tired of giving my love and getting nowhere, nowhere
What I need is somebody who really cares
I really need a lover, a lover who wants to be there
It’s been so long since I touched a wanting hand
I can’t put my love on the line, that I hope you’ll understand
So baby if you want me
Words are so easy to say, oh ah yeah
You’ve got to show me love
There's nothing that you can tell me
You've got to show me love
There's only one key to my heart
I need you love
The lyrics of Arno Cost & Arias's song Magenta are about the singer's yearning for a genuine and loving relationship. They start with the confession of the many heartbreaks and failed promises the singer has endured in the past, leaving them tired of giving love and not getting it reciprocated. What they desire is somebody who is truly invested, a lover who will be there through thick and thin. The singer longs for physical touch, which they have not experienced in a long time, but they are hesitant to put their heart on the line once again.
The chorus of the song emphasizes the emotional vulnerability of the singer and their need for real actions, rather than mere words. The phrase "you’ve got to show me love" is repeated multiple times, underscoring the importance of deeds over empty promises. The singer declares that there is only one key to their heart, and that is love. In essence, the song is a plea for a love that is genuine, trustworthy and caring.
