Tick Tock
Art Nation Lyrics

Tick Tock

It's been so long since you heard the call
So many stories and new beginnings
You've explored the darkness of the soul
And come back from the cold

You were swept away by winds of illusion
And the truth kept getting harder to see
But a voice broke through the haze of confusion
And awoke you from the slumbering dream

Tick tock
There is nothing to loose
Your time is running
Your time is running

Tock tock
It's your time to choose
Your time is running
Your time is running

Now you see what
Kept you inside misery
You had to let go
And watch it explode
To get back your sanity

There's no need to regret
It's all just a thread in the tapestry

Not everything deserves a second chance
But there is power in new beginnings
In a flash the life you knew was gone
Leaving nothing behind

For the first time in what felt like forever
There was beauty all around to percieve
All distractions got erased in an instant
And revealed a new reality

Now you see what
Kept you inside misery
You had to let go
And watch it explode
To get back your sanity

There's no need to regret
It's all just a thread in the tapestry
Tick Tock.

Tick tock
There is nothing to loose
Your time is running
Your time is running

Tock tock
It's your time to choose
Your time is running
Your time is running

Now you see what
Kept you inside misery
You had to let go
And watch it explode
To get back your sanity

There's no need to regret
It's all just a thread in the tapestry

Tick Tock.

Overall Meaning

The Art Nation song "Tick Tock" talks about the importance of taking control of one's life and making choices before it's too late. The lyrics suggest that the listener has been lost for a while, but has found their way back from the darkness of the soul after hearing a voice that awakened them from a slumbering dream. The song emphasizes the ticking clock that is running out of time and encourages the individual to make the most of it. It highlights that getting rid of all distractions that keep the individual from realizing their true potential and perceiving the beauty around them is important.

The lyrics go on to say that new beginnings hold power and that not everything deserves a second chance. The song suggests that it's better to let go of what's holding one back and watch it explode in order to regain sanity. Regretting past mistakes is of no use as everything is just a thread in the tapestry of life. The repetition of "Tick Tock" reinforces the urgency of making a choice before time runs out.

Much better than expected! Very Eclipse-ish.

@andyeve8

Awesome track.

@johnnycage8327

Love that riff at 02:36

@jacobantony1040

Love this band's sound. Sounds like Eclipse..

@troydvorak4011

Nowhere near as gritty as Eclipse. This sounds like H.E.A.T.'s failed attempt to transition to "pop" with Into The Great Unknown (and what a dog that album was).

@MattiasA72

Doesn't sound like Eclipse at all. It's better. And that's from an Eclipse fan.
