The Moscow-based producer's tracks pop up all over the place, although it's probably with the succession of vinyl he's delivered on the Anjunabeats label that he's most closely associated.
He began his DJ career in 2009. This year, his clean, uplifting sound has made him new friends in both the pure trance and house fanbases, no small part of which was down to another fan, one Ferry Corsten, picking up on a track he made under another of his alter egos, Alpha 9. He gave 'Come Home' prominent billing close to the start of the first CD of his 'Once Upon A Night' collection back in spring 2010, and that, along with his tireless recording and touring schedule, has certainly helped him leapfrog into the chart.
The next 12 months don't look like being any more relaxed, either.
"I've confirmed remixes for Paul van Dyk, Filo & Peri and Gareth Emery," he tells us. "There will be a lot of new singles and I will also be releasing my cover version of Moby's track 'New York New York' on Spinnin' Records.
Quite what his communist era forefathers would have made of such Western decadence we can only imagine, but we know it will go down a storm with clubbers from the Great Wall of China to the Golden Gate Bridge. Not that his excursions abroad to spread his musical message are restricted to America and Canada - as well as Europe and Australia, he's also lined up to visit Indonesia and India.

I love the weed, blow that odor
You smell the loud, that's my cologne, yeah baby
Sometimes I wonder, where these niggas goin' wrong
I'm a young ass nigga, but I could buy your bitch a home
Yeah baby
I ball hard like a nigga hoopin' baby
When I shoot all you hear is swoosh baby
ZooGang, Zoovie, I'm the truth baby wow
Sometimes I wonder, how I keep on goin' on
A love the weed, blow that odor

The lyrics of "The Wonder" by Arty deal with the rapper's thoughts and reflections on his life and success. Arty starts off by contemplating how he manages to keep going despite the challenges he faces in life. He admits that he loves to smoke weed, and that he enjoys the smell of it. He also mentions that he wears weed's fragrance like a cologne. Arty then turns his attention to others, wondering where some people go wrong, despite their best efforts to succeed. He claims that although he is still a young person, he can buy a house for someone else's girl.
Arty then switches to bragging about his success and how he lives his life. He compares himself to a basketball player who ball hard and showcases his wealth by talking about his fashionable car and his ability to hear a swoosh sound whenever he shoots. Arty also drops the name of his group, the Zoogang. He ends the verse by stating that he is the truth.
In the last verse, Arty continues to gloat about his success, stating that he is "juugin' and finessin'." He mentions his hundred thousand dollar in his dresser, and warns anyone who tries to steal from him that they will be taught a lesson. The rapper then drops the name of his religious affiliation and uses it as an affirmation of his identity. Arty then name-drops other celebrity names to impress the listener, finally boasting that his talent is a gift.

Just keep coming back to this. Easily his best work. The new album is ok, but none of the songs transport me to another world like this does.
Classics will be classics...

This song sounds like late summer feels, I don't know how to describe it besides that. It makes you just feel like everything is going to be okay in the end. It's simply amazing and will always be one of my favourites from Arty.

His best work, and Zara. I wish he still made beautiful trance like this 😭
Roy Schuiveling
He makes house music nowadays yes. He wasn't always making house music though. He and others like Sander van Doorn, W&W, Ummet Ozcan and Mat Zo all made trance before going to the house genre. This song is pure trance music btw, no doubt about that! :)
