Come Home
Arty pres. Alpha 9 Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Impossible, yet tangible, an ancient dream comes true
Happy since confessing your affect on me
You are my song, you're my appetite
You lift me higher than any satellite
And I'm just still astounded
I didn't know there was perfection
I tried to lose the quest for home
Anyhow, I broke the spell
Was swept away on the swell
Sail for home
Inside I knew
Home is you
The lyrics to Arty pres. Alpha 9's song Come Home describe the feeling of finally finding one's home in a significant other. The opening line "Inside I knew the passing of time would lead to you" suggests that the author has been waiting for this moment for a long time, knowing that eventually it would come. The second line "Impossible, yet tangible, an ancient dream comes true" describes the feeling of disbelief at finally achieving something one has been dreaming of for years. The author then goes on to express his happiness at confessing his love for the other person, and how they have become the most important thing in his life - "You are my song, you're my appetite, you lift me higher than any satellite". The next line "And I'm just still astounded, I didn't know there was perfection" suggests that the author still can't believe that he has found something so perfect. The lyrics then take a turn as the author describes his previous attempts to find a place where he belongs - "I tried to lose the quest for home, then I found you". The final lines - "Anyhow, I broke the spell, was swept away on the swell, sail for home, inside I knew, home is you" - suggest that the author has finally found his true home in the other person and is now content and at peace.

Thanks for your reply.
Exactly, better than talking and I understand where you are coming from, concerning the spiritual / non- dogmatic part.
I Ieft religion behind,
no more (christian) doctrine, realizing those patterns are men-taught illusions.
Even when they may seem kind and loving, eventually
there is always some kind of condemnation, manipulation and guilt.
I am now open to let go of old beliefs.
Not always easy if you were told and even experienced that there is always God, Jesus and Holy Spirit to guide and love you, but now it appears that it could be a traditional fairytale and our brains can experience things based on what we were conditioned to believe.
I still keep believing in a higher Love / Life energy or God ⚡ 🎶
All I know today is that I don't know for sure but that's ok and I feel that music opens the gate to Love and Magic of life.
All the best to you ❤️

I'm age 55 and suffer from severe complex post-traumatic stress disorder. I've been looking for any type of music that helps get me through wicked triggers brought about by my involvement in conflict...I never thought it would be something that today's generation calls "trance", yet I have found the music that soothes my subconsciously hallucinogenic and morally schizophrenic mind...it's called T-R-A-N-C-E.

You again? Mike. Get help if you can bro. Like serious help. Therapy has changed my life for the better. The pain is worth it in the end.

How trace has changed over the years, no longer the deep soothing beats it once was. This piece will forever be a reminder of my youth, when the world made sense
