A pop version of the stars of vaudeville and cabaret. This is how the sextet of dancers and singers who were very successful in the disco scene in the 1970s was defined. The group was born at the time of the soap opera Dancin' Days, by the musical producer Nelson Motta, who took advantage of the talent of six waitresses from his nightclub in Rio. Starting with short musical numbers between tables, singing young guard and rock hits, As Frenéticas began to sell out shows and soon became a national phenomenon.

Pintinho tonto
Não estás no ponto
Volta pro ovo
Eu não me calo
Falo de novo
Não banque o galo
Volta pro ovo
Não marca touca
Tá só te olhando
Com água na boca
E se ligeiro
Você escapar
Tem um granjeiro
Que vai te adotar
O meu ovo tá estreitinho
Já me sinto um galetinho
Já posso sair sozinho
Eu já sou dono de mim
Vou ciscar pela cidade
Grão-de-bico em quantidade
Muito milho e liberdade
Por fim
Pintinho raro
Pintinho novo
Tá tudo caro
Volta pro ovo
E o tempo inteiro
Terás, pintinho,
Um cozinheiro
No seu caminho
Por isso digo
E falo de novo
Pintinho amigo
Então volta pro ovo
Se de repente
Você escapar
Num forno quente
Você vai parar
Gosto muito dessa vida
Ensopada ou cozida
Até assada é divertida
Com salada e aipim
Tudo é lindo e a vida é bela
Mesmo sendo à cabidela
Pois será numa panela
Meu fim
Por isso eu digo
E falo de novo
Pintinho amigo
Então volta pro ovo
E se ligeiro
Você escapar
Tem um granjeiro
Que vai te adotar
The song "O Pintinho" by As Frenéticas tells the story of a young and naive chick who decides to leave the safety of the egg and explore the world. However, the other animals try to warn the little chick that it is still too young and foolish to face the dangers and temptations of the outside. The fox, who is watching the chick eagerly, is just waiting for the moment to devour it. The song's lyrics also warn the chick about the farmer who will adopt him, only to eventually end up on someone's dinner table. The song expresses the idea that sometimes, what we believe to be freedom and independence can lead us to harm and danger. It suggests that perhaps it is better to stay where we are safe instead of recklessly charting our own course.
The lyrics of the song also highlight the chick's perspective on life, its aspirations, and its love for food. The little chick plans to explore the city, find plentiful food like garbanzo beans and corn, and relish its newfound freedom. However, it is unaware of the dangers lurking around it that could turn it into someone's meal. The song also suggests the inevitability of death and the idea that all living beings must someday face it.
