Asesino sometimes play Slayer covers live, most notably "Angel of Death" and "Raining Blood". As with Brujeria, the lyrics are sung entirely in Spanish and with the same subject matter of death, violence and perversion. Guitarist Asesino (Cazares) describes the band as "the new Brujeria." Asesino also has the tendency of making satirical comments during the show, and when playing Brujeria songs, change the original lyrics to something more fitting. "Asesino" is Spanish for "assassin".

Batalla final
Asesino Lyrics

¡Venganza!, mueres por tu traición
Ahora yo tengo el poder
Mis manos te parten el buche!
Batalla final
Los demonios esperan
Haciendo apuestas con almas
Pinche cabrón
No chingues con el Patrón
¿Crees que puedes con mi?
Trae lo
Hechizos ya no te trabajan
Gastados, poderes se te van
Inútil, tu machete se jodió
Satanás esta en mi rincón
Batalla final
Los demonios esperan
Empezar a derramar la sangre
Cayendo de rodillas
Me pides por tu vida
Sin misericordia
Machete a la boca
Batalla final
Los demonios ya están
Satisfechos con nueva alma pa torturar.
¡YA ESTUVO GUEY!
The song "Batalla final" by Asesino tells the story of a protagonist seeking revenge against someone who has betrayed them. The first stanza sets the stage, with the singer announcing that the time for revenge has arrived and that they hold the power. The second stanza describes the impending battle, with the demons waiting and placing bets on the outcome. The third stanza directly addresses the antagonist, warning them not to mess with the Patrón (boss) and that their spells and powers are spent. The fourth stanza describes the final moments of the battle, with the antagonist begging for mercy but receiving none.
The imagery in the song is vivid and violent, fitting for a story of revenge and demonic forces. The use of demonic imagery heightens the tension and the sense of danger, creating a darker tone. The repeated refrain of "Batalla final" (final battle) emphasizes the gravity of the situation and the inevitability of the violent confrontation.
Overall, "Batalla final" is a powerful song that effectively tells a story of revenge and violence. The use of demonic imagery adds to the intensity of the song, and the repeated chorus emphasizes the importance of the final battle.
