We're gonna take it to the overload
Rebel radical retribution
We're here to get what we are owed
I think my head, my head is gonna explode
I think my head is gonna explode, yeah
I think my brain is gonna overload
We're unified in a sonic nation
Leave all the fakers and the lies behind
You want to meet us in a confrontation
Our psychic weapons will destroy your mind
I think my head, my head is gonna explode
I think my head is gonna explode, yeah
I think my brain is gonna overload
I think my head is gonna explode
Now is the time, yeah
To do it right
Take no more lies
Make up your mind, yeah
The witch doctors and the politicians
They rule by fear and try to keep us down
But they can't see that these conditions
Will spark the fury of the underground
I see it on the global transmission
It's almost ready to overload
I see a dark apocalyptic vision
One minute now the world is gonna explode
I think my head, my head is gonna explode
I think my head is gonna explode, yeah
I think my brain is gonna overload
I think my head is gonna explode, yeah
I think my head, my head is gonna explode
I think my head is gonna explode
I think my brain is gonna overload
I think my head is gonna explode

The song "Meltdown" by Ash is a powerful piece that focuses on revolution and rebellion. The opening lines, "Revolution, we're the solution," surely capture the essence of the song itself. The band speaks of an overload and radical retribution, highlighting the intent to take back what they believe they are owed. Further on, they indicate that they're unified among their own community, refusing to keep up with the fakers and lies that follow. The song carries a strong message of nonconformity and the will to take control of one's destiny.
The chorus is quite literally an outburst, as they repeat the line, "I think my head is gonna explode" over and over again. The lyrics suggest an overwhelming sense of frustration with the current state of society, but this anger doesn't translate into violence; instead, they encourage people to make up their minds and to not take any more lies from those that govern them. As the song progresses, the band members speak of a global transmission that carries within it a sense of an impending apocalyptic vision, and one that is minutes away from exploding.
Overall, the song "Meltdown" is a piece that speaks to the inherent anger and dissatisfaction that society feels against those who are in power. It's about the revolution of the masses and the desire to take back what is rightfully one's own in a world that's rife with lies and injustice.
