ASHE creates a unique style of organic electronic music, best described as 'whimsy-filled soundscape' or the sweet spot between nature, space and technology. Based in Toronto, Canada, ASHE can usually be found in Montreal playing fabled venues like Newspeak and Circus Afterhours until sunrise.
Creating music for well over a decade, ASHE has had several major releases. Most notably his EPs 'melancholia' and 'Clairvoyance' on deadmau5's infamous label mau5trap but never shying away from the underground with tracks out on Toronto's 'Emercive' LA's 'Understated Recordings' and more recently 'Strangers Dream' on Dom Kanes 5302 Recordings.
ASHE has been featured in Forbes and Dancing Astro, amongst other notable publications. As well as having music curated in Apple Music's 'Pure Focus' and Spotifys 'Chill Tracks' carrying his name across the globe.

'Cause I don't wanna be alone
I'll never have the right words to say
'Cause I won't tell you stay or go, oh
This is a lose, lose, lose, lose, lose, lose, lose
And I'm gonna lose, lose, lose, lose, lose, you
Why do I have to at all, at all?
Don't force my hand to be the bad guy
When either way we're gonna lose
So why do I have to ask you at all?
(Why do I, ask you, ask you at all, ask you?)
My stomach's turning in the in-between
Why is it so hard to make your mind up?
It's not fair if you leave it up to me
I can't be the one to decide for us
This is a lose, lose, lose, lose, lose, lose, lose
And I'm gonna lose, lose, lose, lose, lose, you
Why do I have to ask you?
Why do I have to at all, at all?
Don't force my hand to be the bad guy
When either way we're gonna lose
So why do I have to ask you at all?
Why do I, why do I, why do I at all?
If I lose you this way then I never had it
If I have to explain then you'll never get it
If you leave anyway then you never meant it
If I lose you this way then I never had it
If I have to explain then you'll never get it
If you leave anyway then you never meant it
Why do I have to ask you?
Why do I have to at all?
Don't force my hand to be the bad guy
When either way we're gonna lose
So why do I have to ask you at all?
If I lose you this way then I never had it
If I had to explain then you'll never get it
If you leave anyway then you never meant it
(At all)
If I lose you this way then I never had it
If I had to explain then you'll never get it
If you leave anyway then you never meant it
(Ask you at all)
Ashe's song Bachelorette captures the feelings of uncertainty and heartbreak that come with a relationship's end. The song opens with the singer's wish to have the right words to say to her partner, so they don't break-up, and she won't feel alone. However, she realizes that she'll never have the right words because she can't decide whether they should stay together or end the relationship. Ashe describes the situation as a lose-lose-lose, and she's going to lose him regardless of what she decides. She asks why she has to be the one to ask him to stay or go and be the bad guy, considering that they'll lose either way. The chorus repeats, emphasizing the helplessness of the situation, which leads to her questioning whether she ever had him in the first place or if he ever meant it.
In the bridge, Ashe expresses her emotional state, describing her stomach turning while she waits for an answer in limbo. She finds it unfair that the decision to remain together or separate is up to her. The final chorus includes a reflection on the potential loss of the relationship and realizing that if she has to explain why things should work out, she wouldn't have had him from the start, and if he leaves anyway, then he never meant it.
In summary, Ashe's "Bachelorette" portrays the pain of being stuck in a relationship with no clear resolution, the struggle of making a decision, and the fear of losing someone special.
