Read Full Bio ↴"Little Boy" is the sixth track on Ashnikko's debut mixtape "DEMIDEVIL".
Talking about the track with Apple Music, Ashnikko said:
“I was dealing with some very toxic men in the music industry and toxic boys in my life and was just like, “I’m over it. Don’t treat me like shit anymore. I literally will not tolerate it.” I was understanding what boundaries were. There’s sadness here, for sure, and I think a real disappointment with men. It’s less “Go fuck yourself” and more like “Please stop placing your emotional trauma onto me and just pay for therapy.” I think the people who listen to my music will appreciate the vulnerability. It’s very important to me that people understand that it’s not all confidence”.

You think a bitch is settled like the dust, but I'm outta here
There's not a man on earth that I trust
You can keep the image of my butt as a souvenir
Unfortunately, you made the mistake of underestimating me
Coulda, shoulda, woulda, but you did it, aha
It's a therapist you need
Could, shoulda, woulda, fuck it
Little boy, who you think you're talking to?
Please don't think that the sex is gonna cloud my view
'Cause I'm done tolerating bullshit
Give you my love and you don't know what to do with it
Little boy, who you, who you think you're talking to?
Please don't think that the sex is gonna cloud my view
'Cause I'm done tolerating bullshit
Give you my love and you don't know what to do with it
Women hold the weight of the world
But you still talk down and call me, "Little girl", I hate that shit
It's a "no" if she needs to be coerced
My body's not an object or dessert, I am not your bitch
I am not your bitch, wanna see me switch
Get psycho, like they say I am
Scared of me, you flinch
I don't need your inches, ya'll in my mentions
I feel fuckboy rich, think you're slick
I burn bridges quick
I won't sacrifice my humanity, sanity for the dick, I won't
Unfortunately, you made the mistake of underestimating me
Coulda, shoulda, woulda, but you did it, aha
It's a therapist you need
Could, shoulda, woulda, fuck it
Little boy, who you think you're talking to?
Please don't think that the sex is gonna cloud my view
'Cause I'm done tolerating bullshit
Give you my love and you don't know what to do with it
Little boy, who you, who you think you're talking to?
Please don't think that the sex is gonna cloud my view
'Cause I'm done tolerating bullshit
Give you my love and you don't know what to do with it
Little boy, who you, who you think you're talking to?
Who you think you're talking to?
Little boy, who, who you think you're talking to?
Who you think you're talking to?

In "Little Boy," Ashnikko takes on a confrontational tone and challenges the behavior of a partner who underestimates and mistreats her. Throughout the song, she makes it clear that she will no longer tolerate being disrespected or treated as an object. The opening lines serve as a warning to her partner that she is not to be underestimated, and she will not hesitate to leave if they fail to appreciate her worth. She then addresses the way that women are often talked down to and infantilized, rejecting the "little girl" label and asserting that coercion is not acceptable. Ashnikko steps into a more assertive and empowering role towards the end of the song, stating that she won't sacrifice her humanity, sanity, or dignity for a partner who doesn't know how to handle her love.
In this song, Ashnikko delivers a powerful message about respect and empowerment that is relevant to women and femmes everywhere. She highlights how women often have to navigate a world that doesn't prioritize their autonomy or agency, and she refuses to play along with that narrative. Additionally, Ashnikko's delivery is sharp and confident, commanding attention and conveying strength even as she addresses difficult and sensitive topics. The instrumental production also complements Ashnikko's performance, featuring a pulsing drumbeat and distorted synths that add intensity and urgency to the track.
