Everyone, the first time Chandelure came in Misty Terrain was up. So it would be immune to Toxic Spikes anyway. Only later was it possible to see if it was boots (which it was) or scarf.

@Diamond Blooded Ty, I wished so much I could have won the last 50/50. For whoever asked: I had only one fire blast left and not 2 (because one was used with max flare). So I ran out of Fireblast but Aim thought I still had one which is very funny lmao. If only I knew it, I would have gone at 100% for CM instead of using my last FireBlast, then I had 60% odds to win (no double protect + succeeding FireBlast)
I told me: ok he can protect and if I win this one, he can still try double protect (+ possible miss). So he has no reason not to go for protect... so he probably thinks I'm going for CM judging I know the fact he is gonna protect... so I'm gonna FBlast this turn... but rip

Zoroark is level 0 because it copies the level of the last pokemon in your party and doesn't have a fixed level. It makes it absolutely busted when it disguises itself as delibird for that reason

Even a level 86 Zoroark is broken in the randbats meta. The highest I've seen is a level 90 Zoroark due to Eldegoss

22:20 - Not sure why showdown does this, but he was out of fire blasts at that point. He used Max flare in dynamax, which used one of his fire blasts. Not critiquing, more getting the information out there for future random battles. Love the content!

Actually, this isn’t a bug, its an intentional design feature! You don’t know your opponents moveset, meaning they could be packing multiple fire-type moves (a la Heatran, with Magma Storm and Eruption). Showdowns interface only provides you with information that you can normally obtain from a battle - meaning, you don’t have any idea which fire-type move they used for the Max Flare.

Yes, Joey could have reasonably discerned this, but showdown’s hover menu not subtracting pp from base moves after max moves is a deliberate mechanic.

22:15 you had already outplayed. Max flare counts as a use of the fire blast, so they had none left at this point. Also think the Chandelure had to HDB since it didn’t get toxic from spikes, so could never be scarf (love the vids, Joey!)

the circle throw set is so damn funny

&i think randbats makes great content, especially at the twilight of the gen where there isnt too much variation in official metagames. so im down for as much of this as youre willing to put out (also maybe a movie or two of 2gen randbats so i can learn the pacing of it a bit better :)

That set data plugin seems really nice. When Chandelure used Max Guard I immediately assumed it was a Calm Mind set; until I paused and looked at the mouseover I didn't realize that choiced sets could possibly get Max Guard from Trick.

I love Licky! You should use him in OU! Personally I love max Attack Assault Vest. Wrap + Explosion lets you trap and eliminate certain things like Fini, Slowing, Volcarona, SpDef Pex, offensive Zapdos, etc. Last two slots are generally Earthquake and Knock Off.
