These riffs just have a thing for lingering in your mind! Amazing lyrics too, they're up there with the best of Atheist and Gorguts. This is their best song IMHO and is one of the pinnacles of death metal.

I really wish this album was produced better. So overly compressed. I put up with it though because this is a masterpiece of technical death metal. I'm guessing the original tracks are gone for good so a proper remaster is unlikely though. Been listening to death metal since 1990 and this is still one of my favorite albums of all time. Heavily influences a lot of my own riffage.

the production on this is PERFECT, it's less in your face that typical death metal, a very prog approach.
