A feeling of fear and anxiety that is overpowering but also exhilarating

we gaze into the eyes of hypnotists
We are transfixed and mesmerized by the words and actions of those in power

The manipulative politicians control everything, including time itself

that is swinging in front of our heads
They dangle the promise of progress in front of us, but it is always just out of reach

as they tippy toe across the borderline
The politicians tiptoe around the sensitive and controversial issues in society

their laws become obsolete
The laws they create are unable to address or solve the real issues at hand

And the world as we know it just falls apart
The fabric of society is unraveling and descending into chaos

and its right in front of our feet
We are witnessing the destruction and collapse of society firsthand

When the bombs fall like rain
In times of war and conflict, destruction is widespread and relentless

and the economy dies in vain
Economic systems fail and crumble, leaving many people with nothing

the requiem will never chime
There will be no solemn music or ceremony to commemorate the loss of life and society

for the world wide genocide
The mass killing and destruction of entire populations and societies will go unacknowledged

a solution must be born
A new and effective solution must be found to address the destructive issues facing society

for the atrocity we ignore
The atrocities committed by those in power must be acknowledged and confronted

and the world will finally see
Once a solution is found, everyone will be able to see the true power of this new approach

The sorrow and mourning of those affected by tragedy will be transformed into something new and powerful

the tear of the children will not burn
The pain and suffering of the innocent will be soothed and eased

The symbols and ideals of past generations will fade away and be forgotten

when all is lost, you better find hope for us
In the face of overwhelming despair and destruction, we must cling to and find hope wherever we can

Lies and deceit wielded by those in power are often successful and bring them victory

these champs have a home inside D.C.
Those in power are based in Washington D.C., the seat of American government

And the massacres that they puppeteer
The politicians are responsible for orchestrating violent and destructive actions

have no hymn or melody
There is no praise or glorification of these actions; they are senseless and wrong

Its a race to the top my friend
Those in power are constantly competing to achieve even greater levels of influence and control

and theyre always waiting at the end
Their goal is to be the ultimate winner and hold all the power in society

and their lies and cheats and tricks and deeds
Their tactics and actions are all based on lies, deception, and deceit

will not cease till theyre fucking dead
They will not stop until they are defeated or killed, refusing to give up their power willingly
