Her main influences are Aretha Franklin, Joss Stone, John Mayer, Amy Winehouse, and James Morrison.

She has also performed a virtual duet with Elvis Presley in Love Me Tender (Viva Elvis) (Duet with Aurea) for the Love Me Tender Duets - Viva Elvis Collection album, comemorative of the 75th birthday of the King.
