Aurora Lyrics

But the booze won't kill so I swallow ten pillsIn the hope they will release meFrom the dreadful memoriesThat keep coming back on me
I'm insaneAll the things that come to mindKill me one again
But the drugs don't work and the booze only lurksSo I guess it's my conclusionThat life is a piece of hard workMrs. pink doesn't like meAnd I'm no longer happy?
I'm insaneAll the things that come to mindKill me once again
Mrs. pink doesn't like meAnd I'm no longer happySo I guess I will ceaseThe damned black leashNo I can end my f**ked up twisted lifeAnd drown my beloved wife
In Aurora's song "All the Things," the lyrics delve into the dark and confronting topic of mental health and suicide. The song begins by the persona expressing how they feel "somehow a slow decay" and in response, they turn to substances such as alcohol and pills to escape their dreadful memories. The persona feels that they are losing their mind, and they're in agony as their thoughts that come to mind continue to kill them once again. They believe that nothing can save them and that life is just a piece of hard work. They even go so far as to mention drowning their beloved wife, which could symbolize their own inner demons dragging them down.
Aurora's lyrics in "All the Things" are very vivid and bold, touching on themes that many people avoid discussing openly. The lyrics use graphic descriptions to convey vivid emotions and thoughts relating to mental health, addiction, and even suicide. The persona in the song is crying out for help and struggling to cope, yet they feel isolated and alone.
There are many interpretations of this song's lyrics, and some suggest that the persona is dealing with guilt or remorse. Other interpretations suggest that this is an allegory for someone who has lost their faith and is feeling hopeless. Regardless of the interpretation, Aurora's song "All the Things" is an emotionally charged, thought-provoking piece that raises awareness for mental health and the importance of taking care of oneself.

At first i thought this song is about struggling with your own dark demons. But as more as I listen to it, then more I realize it's actually about all these people who are aware and scared of the situation in the world. And the outro says it:
"Did you know
That we're all
Turning softer inside
We can save
What is pure
If the hearts can collide
All that I've ever known
Is the universe is wild'.
Aurora says this song is for emotional people. Yes, because only emotional ones can change this World ruled by soulless creatures.

Verse 1]
I don't know why
But I feel down
You need to know
I can't go on
[Verse 2]
I was a rose
I was an animal
Don't let me change
Don't let me go
[Pre-Chorus]
All around is stone
And all is soft inside
[Chorus]
All that I know
Lies within emotion
Words remain unspoken
Lead me through the dark
All I could see
Came to me in colour
Lasted for a moment
Lead me through the dark
All that I know
[Verse 3]
I need it all
I don't know where to begin
I carry more than you see
My dreams are bigger than me
[Verse 4]
Please give me light
I bear a shadow
I call then back to me
So they can feed me
[Pre-Chorus]
All around is stone
And all is soft inside
[Chorus]
All that I know
Lies within emotion
Words remain unspoken
Lead me through the dark
All I could see
Came to me in colour
Lasted for a moment
Lead me through the dark
All that I know
All that I know
[Outro]
Did you know
That we're all
Turning softer inside
We can save
What is pure
If the hearts can collide
All that I've ever known
Is the universe is wild
Is the universe is wild
