Looks like I'd better run for my life
The situation is dire and escape is necessary

Hearing someone approaching in the corridor

Unable to monitor all the attackers at once

This is my one escape

The mask still on my face
Wearing a mask as a means of protection

But they have known I've been here all along
Realizing the attackers have been aware of the presence

Being isolated and surrounded by darkness

Why, can't I escape their soulless eyes?
Questioning the inability to evade their cold, lifeless gazes

It's a lost cause now
Believing there is no chance of survival

They've got my scent, and I can't get out
Being pursued relentlessly and being trapped

Feeling too scared to observe the surroundings

They, are just the beasts to hunt me down
Being hunted by predatory creatures

With no way fight back, the night is already over
Being unable to resist the attackers and realizing the fight is already lost
