Ayodele reemerged in 1999 with his solo debut album "Föder Nåt Nytt", under the name Ayo. The album was a success with hit singles such as "Betongdjungelboken" and "Många som väntar". His sophomore album was titled "Del 2: Uppföljaren" and was meant to be released in 2001, but due to further label issues it was never released. It includes singles "Det spökar" and "Ayooo". Ayo eventually decided to quit the music scene and converted to Islam. Today he lives in Dubai and works as an instructor for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He released one last song in 2011, on Swedish hip hop producer Stress's album "Playlist". On the song "Mitt beslut" ("My decision"), Ayo explains his decision to quit music.

Beautiful
Ayo Lyrics

But you can't see yourself
What you see is a reflection
Of somebody else
Now if you wanna find you
You gotta look underneath that shell
It's where you'll find true beauty
Don't you know you're beautiful
Just the way you are
You are, beautiful
You are beautiful
Just the way you are
You are, beautiful
She wants you to be like her
And he would love to be like him
You wanna be like me
Why can't we just be who we are?
When I was young I wanted my hair straight
Thought the frizzy look wouldn't suit my face
I'd blow it out but that wasn't enough
Until chemicals would break my hair, oh-oh
But then I knew God gave me a sign
I had to love myself so I could shine
I would let my fro grow back
And wear a fisted comb instead
And put on a shirt that said, "Black and proud"
Beautiful
Just the way you are
You are, beautiful
You are beautiful
Just the way you are
You are, beautiful
You are beautiful
Just the way you are
You are, beautiful
You are beautiful
Just the way you are
You are, beautiful
Your lips, your nose
Your cheeks, your eyes
Your hair, your skin
Your ears, your smile
Your lips, your nose
Your cheeks, your eyes
Your hair, your skin
Your ears, your smile
You're, beautiful
You're, beautiful
You're, beautiful
You are, beautiful
You are, beautiful
You are, beautiful
You are, beautiful
You are, beautiful
The song "Beautiful" by Ayo is a powerful message of self-love and beauty. The lyrics encourage listeners to look past their external appearance and find their true beauty, which is hidden beneath their shell. It highlights the common issues of people not embracing themselves for who they are and trying to be something or someone else, just to fit into society.
The opening lines of the song describe a common human experience of looking in the mirror but not seeing oneself. Instead, the reflection is of someone else, which makes it hard to find one's true self. The lyrics urge the listener to look beneath the shell, which is where they can find their true beauty, like a precious pearl.
The chorus of the song is a repetition of the phrase "Don't you know you're beautiful just the way you are." This clear message is aimed to encourage people to love themselves the way they are and embrace their uniqueness. The second verse expresses the desire to be someone else but is eventually replaced by self-love and acceptance. In conclusion, the lyrics of "Beautiful" are a celebration of individuals and their unique beauty.

Linda letra e videoclipe.
