Jason Alexander doesn’t get enough love for his part in this film. He was freakin hilarious! I’ve never laughed so hard at this movie until tonight, but I’ve seen it a few times! I died at the part where he meets Hal’s girl for the first time, and he has this blank stare and says “holy cow” 😂😂😂😂
Then the gym scene 😂😂😂

Many actors get type-casted. It is not a bad thing, they get famous for portraying a type of character and will make it easier to find work. The current trend of expecting every actor/actress to be able to act any role actually have audience putting up with less convincing acts by famous actor/actress instead of casting someone who can be really good in a role.

I've been watching 'Seinfeld' recently, and had only just remembered that Jason Alexander was in this film. It's amazing how he can make himself so different - I always thought George Costanza was really cute; but Mauricio is utterly repulsive, both physically and as a character. Great acting from JA, and with help from that revolting powder toupee thing, of course. Poor Mauricio having to deal with humiliation due to having a tail, though.
