Let's be rebellious baby
No turnin back now
I'm already sold on it
You came and convinced me
I wanna get this over with
Thank God the teenagers takin over the world
And all your old school niggaz, should just go fishin for pearls
[Chorus]
I came to sweat [3X]
Well get on up and jam y'all
I came to jam tonight
And I came to party
Well I come to jam tonight
Life makes me horny
[Pharrell]
They talk about yesterday
But I'm just thinkin 'bout tonight
Don't take it no kind of way
But I just wanna dance all night
Thank God the teenagers takin over the world
And all you yesterday people, should stay in your bed and curl
[Chorus]
[N.E.R.D.]
Uhh, damn right
I am a ten-to-five
I am a happy dryer
Your uphill makes my mouth dry
C'mon let's wash saliva
Don't you wanna feel some love
Everybody is high on drugs
Got problems with some nookie
I am the nookie piper!
[Pharrell]
Thank God the teenagers takin over the world
And when you open up your eyes, I hope you old fucks just hurl
Look here
I came to sweat [3X]
You ain't seen nothin yet
[Chorus]
The lyrics to B.R.E.E.D's song "I Wanna" convey a sense of rebellion and a desire for freedom, particularly from the constraints and expectations of the older generation. Pharrell starts off by expressing his commitment to being rebellious and not turning back, indicating that he is already convinced by someone or something. He highlights the power and influence of teenagers in shaping the world and suggests that older individuals should let go of their traditional ways and discover something new.
The chorus emphasizes Pharrell's intention to sweat and have a good time, demonstrating his willingness to let loose and party. He expresses his desire to dance all night and focuses on the present moment rather than dwelling on the past. Again, he reiterates the power of the younger generation and suggests that those from the past should remain in their comfort zones.
The verses by N.E.R.D add another layer to the song, with references to being a "ten-to-five" and a "happy dryer." These lines suggest being satisfied with a mundane, regular life, but Pharrell interjects with the line "your uphill makes my mouth dry," implying that he is bored and craves excitement and love. N.E.R.D continues with lyrics about people being high on drugs and him being a "nookie piper," which could be interpreted as him being a charismatic figure who entices people with sexual desire.
In the final verse, Pharrell reiterates the power of the younger generation and expresses a hope that older individuals, when confronted with this reality, will simply give up and retreat. He states that he has come to sweat and implies that what is yet to come will be even more intense and exciting.
Overall, "I Wanna" explores themes of rebellion, youth empowerment, and a desire for freedom and excitement. It encourages individuals to let go of the limitations imposed by the past and embrace the vibrancy of the present moment.

@brandy gardner I'm sure it might ease up somewhat yet I don't know so much. I mean I have family that have lost their children, Idk. Umm my brother he lost both of his boys at a very young age. They were 2 and 3 when they passed away from a fire in the home. And I was pregnant with my first born and when he was born he looked just like my brothers youngest boy his name is Terry Shane and my brother was holding my son when I got to bring him home and oh my goodness he was crying his eyes out because of how much my son looked like his. And my son was born 3 months after we laid his boys to rest. OMG it was so bad!! That was 32 years ago.
