In 2004, after relocating to Vancouver, BC, B.Traits began to make a name for herself as she astounded dance floors with her enchanting DJ sets and magnetic stage presence. Her emotional persona of chaos and desire, fused with heavy beats and booming bass has now led her to the vanguard of the underground music community.
In 2007, B.Traits was recruited by the Digital SoundBoy himself, Shy FX, making her the first Digital Sound Girl on the world renown UK based record label Digital Soundboy Recordings.
At the age of only 23, she has captivated audiences all over the globe, touring Asia, Europe, USA and Canada. She has performed at some of most respected and exclusive events and venues and has taken the stage alongside electronic musics finest artists. B.Traits has also dominated the radio waves with guest appearances on popular dance music stations such as BBC Radio 1 and Ministry of Sound. She has been featured in numerous magazines including MixMag, DJ Mag, and Knowledge Mag and has also graced the cover of ATM magazine in the July issue of 2008.
In an industry that is dominated by male DJ's/Producers, she reflects a woman deeper than the hyper-feminine stereotype, confronting conformity, tearing down boundaries and rewriting all the rules.
