Glory Days
BBM Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Will we find the way to our dreams?
Will we shine our light through
The darkest night till the morning?
[Chorus]
Glory days
Don't let these times be forgotten
Don't let them fade from our hearts
There's a time we left far behind us
Though the seeds of hope still remain
And the wheel must turn
But the fires still burn in the morning
[Chorus: x2]
Will we find ourselves in tomorrow?
Will we find a way to your dreams?
Will we shine so bright
Turn your darkest night to the morning?
[Chorus: x2]
The lyrics of BBM's song Glory Days reflect on the concept of nostalgia and reminiscing about the past while wondering if there is a place for the future. The first verse poses questions about the paths we will take and whether we will reach our dreams. The chorus urges not to forget the "glory days" and to keep them alive in our hearts, reminding us to honor and cherish the moments that have shaped us.
The second verse alludes to the fact that although time moves forward and changes occur, there is always a part of us that remains unchanged, giving us hope that the good memories and experiences will remain. The final verse not only repeats the questions of the first verse, but also offers a solution - to shine our light and turn the darkest night into morning, suggesting that we have the power to create change and progress towards our goals.
Overall, Glory Days is a song that speaks to the universal human experience of looking back while moving forward, and encourages us to hold onto the moments that matter.
