“Being an 80's baby, I grew up listening to a wide variety of Hip Hop during its "Golden Age". Whether it be Snoop Dogg, A Tribe Called Quest, NWA or LL Cool J, I enjoyed the music because it was real. These people loved what they did, even though they gained profit they still thought it necessary to promote theiur best efforts. Music needs love again.”
His foray into music initially wasn't all in all hip hop related. "My first memory of anything lyric that I wrote is a poem I wrote in 8th grade called 'In The Ghetto'. It received good reviews from my peers, so i continued to write." He cites Pete Rock and Talib Kweli's collaboration "Fly Til I Die" Off of 2004's Soul Survivor II as his inspiration to begin taking Hip Hop seriously "That song was, to me, the epitome of what the essence of hip hop is. Everything... from the beat to the lyrics to the presentation was so in tune I felt compelled to make music.
Water would begin to write and record raps with his high school friends, experimenting with his new love. The creation of these early songs began his exploration of the Emcee realm.
BE. would go on to practice his craft, using each song as a means to improve, but also a means to express himself. Through time, he would become enthralled at the world of beat-making, and thus began his expansion into the 'Science'.
With the focus and care that BE.water applies to his craft, combined with the determination and passion for his music to be quality and always progressing, one must wonder what water believes the future has in store for him.
"In the future, I would love to make money doing this, but i refuse to sell out. I want to always stay true to myself. If I have to sacrifice monetary benefits for the quality of my music, for the soul of my music, i will make those necessary arrangements. Music is more powerful than we would like to believe. Music is a gift that can connect the entire world, music is universal. Good Music is from the soul, and i want to allow myself to reach the highest peaks attainable through diligence, effort, and a never ending love for my craft"

The lyrics to BE.water's song What Can I Do talk about the complexities of relationships, particularly in the context of love and infidelity. The song mentions how people say that you can only love one person at a time, but in reality, for every woman, there is a man. The singer's lover has also expressed that she sees her life as finite and therefore plans to love as many people as she can. The singer finds himself unsure of what to do in this situation, and all he can do is sing the blues as he contemplates his position.
The song's chorus of "What can I do? Yes, I just sing the blues, Well, I just sing the blues 'Cause that's the only thing I know to do" highlights the singer's helplessness and the fact that he is trying to come to terms with the situation. The songwriter conveys the message that sometimes in life, there isn't much we can do about a situation other than to accept it and cope the best way we can.
In summary, the song explores themes of love, infidelity, and helplessness. The singer's love interest is open about seeing other people, which leaves the singer confused and unsure of how to proceed.
