Bakar grew up in Camden in North London, and attended a state school before being sent to a boarding school in Surrey by his mother. He expressed that "going outside of London and hearing other tastes and how that can relate to me, it definitely did something to me."

I remember hearing this song while my uncle was in the hospital. He was making progress back but sadly passed the next day. This song gave me hope for some reason. It was like a beacon of light. He longed to be with his parents. He was their caregiver. So much so he got qualified to legally take care of them as they grew old. The bird who never left the nest. I never got to say good bye. This gives me peace. I love you uncle Andy. You had a heart of gold ❤
