(1) Bala is a Galician stoner rock/grunge band that consists of Anxela Baltar from A Coruña (guitar and vocals) and Violeta Mosquera from Pontevedra (drums and vocals). On 14 September 2015, they released their debut work, a seven-song album called Human Flesh, and on 3 March 2017 they released Lume, both on the record label Matapadre from Santiago de Compostela.
Third album is Maleza, recorded in 2019 but delayed until 2021 because the pandemic. This also prompt a change of label, since Maleza was released on Century Media. It includes Agitar, their most listened single so far, and keeps the characteristic sound that started with Human Flesh. As characteristic it is, as the mixture of songs in English, Spanish and Galician.
(2) bala is an all-female artist and creator collective based in Tokyo and formed in early 2023. The group's concept is to globally transmit the fusion of various Gen Z cultures and Japanese pop culture. Through their 3D avatar character "Barla", they are also actively involved in the next generation of creativity utilizing Web 3.0.

"Lume" es una palabra gallega que significa "fuego", ciertamente este disco está que arde, con esa tormenta que encierra de punk y noise. Violeta Mosquera y Anxela Baltar, componentes de Bala, sólo necesitan una batería y una guitarra para desarrollar esta música arrolladora, tan adictiva. Ellas no se andan con medias tintas, su actitud desafiante y esos decibelios que no dan descanso durante los breves veinte minutos que dura este disco son realmente extenuantes. Con su álbum de debut en 2015 “Human Flesh” ya dieron la campanada. Reivindicación del movimiento feminista, ligado a la escena alternativa, de las riot grrrls, pero en esta ocasión no es anglosajón, sino que llega cargado de urgencia desde tierras gallegas.
