Should I
Bang Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Trying to sound me, Should I let you in?
It hounds me, trying to see me
Finally found me, it's cold where I've been
Should I let you in?
Fire melts the ice, we carry in our hearts
Good advice—that's a start!
Says it knows me, takes the time to show me
High and lows me, Should I let you in?
It's cold... Cold where I've been
It's cold... Cold, cold where I've been
It's cold... And cold is a sin!
Fire melts the ice we carry in our hearts
Good advice! That's a start
Good Advice! That's a start!
The song "Should I" by Bang is a reflective and contemplative tune that explores the struggles of letting someone in after being hurt in the past. The lyrics "All around me, falling all around me/Trying to sound me, Should I let you in?" suggest a feeling of vulnerability and hesitation. The character in the song is being pursued by someone who is trying to "hounds" them and "finally found" them. The repeated refrain "Should I let you in?" highlights the internal struggle of whether or not to open up to this person who is attempting to connect with them emotionally.
The lyric "Fire melts the ice we carry in our hearts" is a metaphor for the emotional barriers that the character is carrying due to past traumas. The idea here is that warmth and vulnerability can melt the icy walls and barriers that have been erected. The reference to "good advice" suggests that this person is receiving advice that is encouraging them to take a chance on this potential connection.
The final line "And cold is a sin!" is a powerful statement that reinforces the importance of warmth and connection in the emotional lives of human beings. This line can be interpreted as a warning against maintaining emotional barriers and not being open to connection.
Overall, "Should I" is a thoughtful and introspective song that invites the listener to consider the consequences of emotional vulnerability and the importance of human connection.

Do you guys not worry about sugar free? I love absolutely everything about these drinks except the damn sugar free...cotton candy 🍭 tastes wonderful. Somebody claimed skiddale was the best I thought cotton candy was a little better. Got blue razz in the fridge. I’m excited to try that.
How worried or not worried are you guys about sucralose/aspartame? I stopped drinking Monster because of that. However, monster is still loaded with sugar.
So it doesn’t have that crazy sugar free taste. Scared of what I read about aspartame and sucralose...so I have been reading every label of everything for years now.
Figured I’d try this but I probably won’t drink them anymore. I wish they had regular sugar because they taste great and I love the flavors and caffeine content and that it has creatine. As I stated this damn sugar free is something I’m very adamant on not having at all, let alone here and there. What are your guys thoughts on this?
My favorite energy drinks I regularly are rockstar and full throttle. All sugar. All sugar. Red Bull is all sugar as well but I find it’s very acidic tasting and causes indigestion/heartburn much more then these other ones I drink. Damn I wish Bang would make a cane sugar line. Or fructose syrup anything but that poison ☠️

@Moonlight Reveries Every big industry has a lobby. And the sugar industry is massive. Right up there with the corn industry. Both of whom really want you to think low calorie sweeteners are bad for you.
So if there is a concern about moneyed interests. The big money wants you to think artificial sweeteners are much worse for you than they actually are.
Proving to be non-carcinogenic is part of the FDA approval process. I don't know of any high quality studies showing artificial sweeteners to be carcinogenic.
See the problem is low calorie sweeteners are usually in "diet" foods. But diet foods are typically used as a treatment for a health problem like obesity, so the people who consume the most artificial sweetener are usually the most unhealthy. But that doesn't mean that artificial sweeteners themselves are unhealthy, or even that they aren't making people healthier.
It is like comparing the rate of cancer among people who get chemotherapy vs those who don't. Obviously you are going to find people who undergo chemotherapy have more cancer. But that doesn't mean chemotherapy causes cancer, in fact it is the opposite, it reduces cancer.
Most if not all the research claiming negative side effects of artificial sweeteners fail to control for the possibility that unhealthy people are simply more likely to seek out diet alternatives than healthy people. Because you know, of course they are.

Bang is the Holy Grail for Energy Drinks. Bang always makes me feel good, unlike any other Caffeine Beverage out there. Other's try to duplicate but not starbucks, not Monster, not any other drink is as good as Bang. Try Miami Cola, the best flavor they make.
Gary Johnson
It’s clear you have horrible taste. Cola is one of the greatest flavours that’s why coke and Pepsi are so successful. Raging raspberry hibiscus is good, peach mango is hard to beat

@Loezha if you like cola it’s not bad, I been drinking bang for a while now, cherry blade taste like cherry slurpee, but it’s really sweet, I would recommend key lime pie, it has good taste not too sweet. Rainbow unicorn is good, bangster berry, peach mango is good, never have got a caffeine crash from bang, this is definitely the best caffeine drink you can buy right now, especially for the price land amount of caffeine you get, not to mention the caffeine high is better than I have had from drinking caffeine.
Loezha
dude miami cola is horrible how can you like that
Ricky Estrada
Felt amazing drinking a bang every day… until I stopped for a whole week and felt miserable. Don’t get used to yourself on caffeine!
