With that idea in mind, we started to build the band, made up with eight members. The group's name was taken from the mythic Skatalà song Barato.

We performed for the first time on 11 September 2006 night at El Pont del Diable (Martorell) affected by the devilish aromas of the Llobregat. In our music, we have influences from Skatalà, Dr. Calypso, The Specials, Toots & The Maytals, Skatalites, Kortatu, Skalariak, etc.

On 11 of September 2007, we celebrate the first year of the band, playing for the Catalan festivity la diada at El Pont del Diable (Martorell). The left year had been very intense. We had performed more than 20 concerts around four regions, sharing stage with well-known ska bands as Discipulos de Otilia, Betagarri and Strombers. We had had enthusiastic moments on concerts, for San Joan and all the local festivities around Catalonia.

Without losing the idea of playing covers, we started to introduce our songs. The first one was En Calcetes, with Caribbean rhythm, inspired in the life of a curious young man, which became a revolutionary song on the stages. Other songs have rock steady, jazz blues and punk influences as Baratos Ska Classic or Blaugranes. The last one shows one of our passions, Barcelona FC.
