Matt is quoting Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, referring to the light coming through the window, which represents Juliet. He remarks on how she's beautiful like the sun.

Arise, fair sun And kill the envious moon
Matt continues to recite Romeo's soliloquy, wishing for Juliet, the "fair sun," to dim the "envious moon" so that she might emerge in all her beauty.

That thou her maid art far more fair than she
Lucas is reciting Romeo's lines to Juliet, comparing her beauty to that of the moon itself, saying that Juliet is far more beautiful.

Be not her maid since she is envious
Zach quotes Romeo, telling Juliet whom he compares to the sun not to take on the moon's envy of her beauty.

Her vestal livery is but sick and green
Peter describes Juliet's dress as the gown of a vestal virgin, which is sickly and of poor quality.

And none but fools do wear it
Peter continues, mocking the idea of wearing such a dress, saying only fools would do that.

'Tis but thy name that is my enemy Thou art thyself though not a Montague What's Montague?
Ivy quotes Juliet, saying that it's not the person she loves--Romeo--that's her enemy, but rather his family name, Montague. She asks, "What's Montague?" as if it's not a big deal.

It is nor hand nor foot nor arm nor face
Nadia responds to Ivy, saying that a person's name is neither a part of their body nor their face or features.

Hey, what's in a name?
Nadia continues her response, agreeing with Ivy's sentiment and questioning the importance of a name.

That which we call a rose By any other word Would smell just as sweet
Ivy finishes quoting Juliet's soliloquy, saying that even if a rose was called by a different name, it would still have the same sweet smell. Ivy believes that if Romeo had a different name, he would still be the same sweet person she loves.

My only love has sprung from my only hate
Ivy realizes that her love for Romeo has grown out of her hate for the Montagues, his family.

A plague on both your houses
Two guys say this, cursing both the houses of the Capulets and Montagues for their fighting and death.

Think of marriage now
Two girls urge others to think about marriage, similar to how Romeo and Juliet get married secretly.

They drugs are quick Thus with a kiss I die
Peter, Matt, and Lucas sing Romeo's iconic line before he drinks poison and dies in the play, where he states that with a kiss, the drugs will work quickly and he will die.

He's dead He's dead He's dead He's dead He's dead
Nadia and a guy repeat several times that a person is dead, as they may be acting out a scene from Romeo and Juliet.

I think I've seen all I can stand to see
Sister Chantelle expresses her dissatisfaction with the auditions and implies she has seen enough.

Quit trippin', girl I know you didn't just interrupt me! And what's with the warble? Snow White in the house? You're quite a dancer Too bad you opened your mouth I have a Romeo who's well rehearsed Then there's the rest of you This show has got to be cursed This play's a tragedy without a doubt Now, are there any other fools here To make me fall out?
Sister Chantelle scolds Ivy for interrupting her and sarcastically compliments her dancing, stating that the play is cursed because of how bad the auditions were. She then asks if there are any more bad performers to make her pass out in annoyance.

Jason quotes Romeo regarding the power of love, saying that love can help one overcome obstacles and that there is nothing that love cannot do.

Nadia cautions Jason that if he is seen by the Capulets, the enemies of the Montagues, they will kill him.

There lies more peril In thine eye Than twenty of their swords
Matt proclaims that there is more danger in Juliet's eye than in twenty swords, indicating that he may be willing to take the risk to be near her.

I would not for the world They saw thee here
A group of actors urge Jason to hide from the Capulets.

I have night's cloak to hide me From their eyes
Jason reassures the others that he's got a cloak to hide him from sight, and that he will be safe when he sneaks into the Capulet house.

And but thou love me Let them find me here My life were better ended by their hate
Jason tells Matt that if he can be with Juliet, he doesn't care if the Capulets find and kill him because his life is miserable without her anyway.

Than death prorogued Wanting of thy love
Jason would rather die immediately than live on without being loved by Juliet.

By whose direction found'st Thou out this place?
A group of actors ask Jason how he found his way to the Capulet house.

By love, that first did prompt Me to inquire
Jason answers that love led him to find the Capulet house and led him to inquire about where Juliet might be.

Enough! Shut up! I'll go make my decisions I'll be back in a few Girl, what is wrong with you?
Sister Chantelle interrupts the chatter, telling the performers to be quiet while she determines the casting. She then leaves to make her decisions, asking Ivy what's wrong with her before she goes.

Get me orders I don't know, I might Remember back when all we needed was beer? The performers randomly converse about the audition, how great it was that Jason got in, and their plans for Friday night. Some of them are unsure whether they'll attend, while others think back positively on their freshman year of college. They also make a lighthearted joke about putting a princess in the trunk of a car and dragging her behind.

You all did very well and of course everyone is guaranteed a spot in the chorus. Principals: Nurse, Nadia McConnell.
Sister Chantelle announces the cast list to the performers, praising them for their efforts but only revealing Nadia's principal role in the play. Others are guaranteed spots in the chorus.
