1) Barney is a purple dinosaur from our imagination, and when he's tall he's what we call a dinosaur sensation. Barney's friends are big and small they come from lots of places. After school we need to play and sing with happy faces. Barney show's us lots of things like how to play pretend, ABCs, and 123s, and how to be a friend. Barney comes to play with us when ever we may need him. Barney can be your friend too if you just make believe in him!

Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer
Barney Lyrics

Comet and Cupid and Donner and Blitzen
But do you recall
The most famous reindeer of all?
Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer
Had a very shiny nose
And if you ever saw it
You would even say it glows
Used to laugh and call him names
They never let poor Rudolph
Join in any reindeer games
Then one foggy Christmas Eve
Santa came to say
"Rudolph, with your nose so bright
Won't you guide my sleigh tonight?"
Then how the reindeer loved him
As they shouted out with glee
"Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer
You'll go down in history"
Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer
Had a very shiny nose
And if you ever saw it
You would even say it glows
All of the other reindeer
Used to laugh and call him names
They never let poor Rudolph
Join in any reindeer games
Then one foggy Christmas Eve
Santa came to say
"Rudolph, with your nose so bright
Won't you guide my sleigh tonight?"
Then how the reindeer loved him
As they shouted out with glee
"Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer
You'll go down in history."
The lyrics to Barney's song Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer mention Santa Claus' eight reindeer, introducing each one by name. This is a common theme in Christmas songs as the reindeer play an important role in folklore, famously pulling Santa's sleigh on Christmas Eve. However, the attention soon turns to Rudolph, who is described as having a very shiny nose that glows. The other reindeer used to laugh and call him names, ostracizing him from their games. Despite this, Santa comes to Rudolph's aid on a foggy Christmas Eve, asking him to guide his sleigh with his shiny nose. The other reindeer suddenly love Rudolph and celebrate his unique ability, recognizing him as a hero who will go down in history.
