My brother flew in the bush in Africa for 7 years, met the love of his life there, loved flying over all that wildlife and died in a plane crash so this story resonates. He lived long enough to see this film and I know it was special for him as he had a CD of the soundtrack among his belongings,

I learnt that South Africa 🇿🇦 is a nation of divide.. hmmmm.. the English are in the field of financial system and government the Dutch are in the field of farming and food production and the African black are in a house cleaning services .. hmmmm.. but..
extremely few African black are in the government role that make decisions.. hmmmm, and the Indian and their gem stones, and yeah, the coloured ones.. hmmmm..that didn't feel where they belong to.. hmmmm..😔.

I love wildlife so very much and flying your own personal airplane viewing such beauty is a dream for me. Your brother was a very fortunate man to have done what so many only dream of! God bless him and I am very sorry for your loss.🙏🕊️

As a young girl of 19, newly married, I flew to Kenya with my husband for him to take up a British civil service post for 3 years. We lived just outside Nairobi and not far from Karen where the coffee farm stood. It was 1957. This film fills me with memories and the beautiful John Barry music.
