No more dares, only truths, girl, how 'bout we go?
Go up shelf, we not drinkin' Casamigos
Are you impaired? You're not there, but I'm a little
Clase Azul got me singin', "I love you too"
Bassy, Captain Clase, girl, come drive my boat
DZL will got that Captain Morgan, pour him three more
Then stand up, please
Let me see you put your hands on your knees
No more dares, only truths, girl, how 'bout we go?
Go up shelf, we not drinkin' Casamigos
Are you impaired? You're not there, but I'm a little
Clase Azul got me singin', "I love you too"
Where you work on the weekend?
Where you go on a Sunday?
Heard that place is the hot spot
I'ma take you to brunch there
I'ma get you the Rollie
I'ma take you to Italy
I'ma need you to show me everything that's gon' be
No more dares, only truths, girl, how 'bout we go?
Go up shelf, we not drinkin' Casamigos
Are you impaired? You're not there, but I'm a little
Clase Azul got me singin'-
Yeah, Cole and Bassy, the passport bros
But we ain't shellin' out cash for hoes
No, I'm a little old fashioned
Coast to coast out in Shoko, smashing
Shots of Clase, me and lil' Bassy in Barcelona
The news just dropped, I'm a partial owner
What can I say?
Tell coach Cliff to suit me up and I'll play
I'm winning
We at Tape Mayfair, you can't get in
The little back room where not many fit in
The prettiest girls all be grinnin'
They say I'm they favorite
They want me to lay with, it's blatant
Now we on our M.I.A. shit, we just hit playa
They're playing the Durk song, damn, I'm on fire
A little redbone
She looks like Mya and want me to try her, oh Lord
No more dares, only truths, girl, how 'bout we go?
Go up shelf, we not drinkin' Casamigos
Are you impaired? You're not there, but I'm a little
Clase Azul got me singin', "I love you too"
The lyrics to Bas's song "Passport Bros" tell a story of two friends, Bas and Cole, who are enjoying their adventurous lifestyle while exploring different cities around the world. The song opens with a reference to Clase Azul, a high-end tequila brand, which sets the tone for a luxurious and carefree experience. The line "Clase Azul got me singin', 'I love you too'" suggests that the indulgence in this tequila has put the singer in a joyful and affectionate mood.
As the song continues, Bas and Cole are seen as the life of the party, attracting attention wherever they go. They invite a girl to join them on their escapades and confidently declare that they will show her a good time, with lyrics like "Bassy, Captain Clase, girl, come drive my boat" and "Ring that bell, bet they follow wherever we go."
The chorus reveals a playfulness in the relationship between Bas and the girl, as they engage in a game of truth or dare. Bas suggests leaving behind the popular Casamigos tequila and choosing something different. The line "Are you impaired? You're not there, but I'm a little" suggests that Bas might be slightly intoxicated but still full of enthusiasm.
The next verse shifts the focus to the girl, as Bas asks her questions about her life and offers to show her new experiences. He mentions taking her to a hot spot for brunch and buying her a luxury watch (the Rollie). He also expresses his desire to travel to Italy with her and discover everything that their future holds.
In the final verse, Bas and Cole are referred to as the "passport bros," implying that they are constantly on the move, exploring different countries. They boast about their lifestyle but also mention their traditional values, saying they don't spend money on women. Bas takes pride in his achievements, mentioning that he has become a partial owner in some venture. This verse also highlights their success and popularity as they frequent exclusive clubs and attract the attention of beautiful women.
