Och hon kan banna, banna dig sе hеrt
Hon rцjer upp i vеran kanal
Hon rцjer upp i vеran kanal
Som alltid vaktar alla som дr hдr
(Ready for take off)
(Are you ready?)
Lyrics
Och hon kan banna, banna dig sе hеrt
Hon rцjer upp i vеran kanal
Men nдr Anna skrev och sa:
Fцr i mina цgon дr hon alltid en bott

The lyrics to Basshunter's song "Boten Anna" are about a bot named Anna who watches over a chatroom to prevent spam and takeovers. The song praises Anna for her abilities to ban users who misbehave and clean up the chatroom. However, the lyrics take a twist when Anna reveals that she is, in fact, not a bot but a beautiful woman. The singer of the song is saddened by this news but still sees Anna as a powerful figure in the chatroom.
The song is a commentary on the digital age and the importance of moderation in online communities. The singer's admiration for Anna represents the trust that users have in moderators to maintain order and protect them from harm. Moreover, the lyrics reveal the relationship users build with these moderators, often treating them as tangible entities even though they are digital constructs.

I remember how this song was popular back then.
Basshunter is a Swedish bedroom DJ/producer, a cyber geek who wrote a song about an experience with meeting a girl on the internet. The girl was called Anna, and the song 'Boten Ana'.
Basshunter sent it to his friends on the web, who forwarded to their friends, and so on until it ended up in the hands of a local radio DJ who played it out on air. After its first airing the station was inundated with phone calls to play it again and they added it to their playlist.
The track then went crazy, the whole of Sweden got caught up in the story about his love for a girl on the internet, and when it was released in Scandinavia it became the fastest selling debut single since Abba, and Basshunter their biggest selling debut artist ever!
Awsome!!!
@MPStudioBergen

I still remember when I heard this for the first time, I fell in love with it instantly and I still love it after 14-15 years even though I have heard it at least thousand times.

I remember listening to this at like 11 or 12 years old all the time. I'm 23 now. I miss those days. I used to be so obsessed with club and trance music. This takes me back to a time of innocence before everything started going to hell.
@brianjensen8355
Well, I'am 53 and I am also listering to this; but everything started going to hell almost 36 years ago ;-}
@syoksysampyla9531
