In the 1990s he was in the boyband Caught In The Act, which enjoyed sifnificant success mostly in Germany. After the departure of Caught In The Act, Ragas developed a steady career in his native country as a stage performer in many musicals and appearing in various television programmes. He is married to Dutch TV presenter and fellow musical star Tooske Breugem, with whom Ragas has children and they had a massive Top 40 hit together with a duet.
