Nowhere Man
Beatles & Tiny Tim Lyrics

Sitting in his nowhere land
Making all his nowhere plans for nobody
Doesn't have a point of view
Knows not where he's going to
Isn't he a bit like you and me?
Nowhere man please listen
Nowhere man, the world is at your command
He's as blind as he can be
Just sees what he wants to see
Nowhere man, can you see me at all
Nowhere man don't worry
Take your time, don't hurry
Leave it all 'til somebody else
Lends you a hand
Ah, la, la, la, la
Doesn't have a point of view
Knows not where he's going to
Isn't he a bit like you and me?
Nowhere man please listen
You don't know what you're missing
Nowhere man, The world is at your command
Ah, la, la, la, la
He's a real nowhere man
Sitting in his nowhere land
Making all his nowhere plans for nobody
Making all his nowhere plans for nobody
Making all his nowhere plans for nobody
"Nowhere Man" is a reflective and introspective song by The Beatles, released in 1965 on their album Rubber Soul. It explores the concept of an individual who seems disconnected from the world around them and lacks direction in life. The lyrics depict a man who is living in a "nowhere land," a metaphorical state of being where he is neither truly present nor engaged with the people and events happening around him. The nowhere man is portrayed as someone who is devoid of purpose or ambition, making plans that ultimately do not benefit anyone, including himself.
The song suggests that the nowhere man is not alone in his aimlessness, emphasizing that he is in fact quite similar to the average person. By using the line "Isn't he a bit like you and me?" the lyrics invite listeners to reflect on their own lives and question whether they too may be drifting aimlessly without a clear point of view or direction. The song also offers a message of empowerment, urging the nowhere man to open his eyes and take control of his life, realizing that the world is at his command if he chooses to engage with it.
Overall, "Nowhere Man" is a profound exploration of the human condition, addressing themes of purpose, perspective, and self-discovery. Through its introspective lyrics and catchy melody, the song encourages listeners to reflect on their own lives and strive for a more meaningful existence.

Lets start a petition to get this man a proper biopic film 🎞
David Carpenter
If there is any biopic made about him, it probably will not come from Hollywood or any of the usual sources. Tiny Tim was a devout Christian, and very open about it. If he were around today, he would be cancelled, for sure.

It was made last year, it’s called Tiny Tim: King for a Day.

it would probably be from some European or a Asian film studio because he would be a bit controversial even from the time you originally posted.

Bon Jovi says otherwise (not an insult, I love Tiny Tim)

The man had talent and is still totally unique and one of a kind all these years later. The world's a darker place without him. God Bless you Tiny Tim.

Most people don't realize, but this is the proper way to perform this particular song.
