You and me, misery
It's killing me, yeah go...
Far away please go... Get out of my head
Standing here with you again means nothing to me
You just talk, help you find.
I know it's over, go...
Far away please go... Get out of my head
The Beatsteaks' song Go is a moving and passionate post-breakup song about the end of a relationship. The singer acknowledges fault for the downfall of the relationship and expresses a desire for the other person to move on from him and the misery they both experienced. The lyrics "I can never be with you. Put the blame on me" show that he takes responsibility for the end of the relationship and wants the other person to know that it was not their fault. He then follows with "You and me, misery. It's killing me, yeah go... Far away please go... Get out of my head" which highlights the pain and hurt they both endured throughout the relationship.
Despite standing next to the other person again, he feels as though it means nothing as they just talk. The lyric "You just talk, help you find. I know it's over, go..." emphasizes that he has moved on and wants them to do the same. The phrase "Far away please go... Get out of my head" further emphasizes that he wants the other person to leave his thoughts and memories, giving them the freedom to move on and heal.
