"From this distant vantage point, the Earth might not seem of particular interest. But for us, it's different. Consider again that dot. That's here, that's home, that's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there – on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam. The Earth is a very small stage in a vast cosmic arena. Think of the rivers of blood spilled by all those generals and emperors so that, in glory and triumph, they could become the momentary masters of a fraction of a dot. Think of the endless cruelties visited by the inhabitants of one corner of this pixel on the scarcely distinguishable inhabitants of some other corner, how frequent their misunderstandings, how eager they are to kill one another, how fervent their hatreds. Our posturings, our imagined self-importance, the delusion that we have some privileged position in the Universe, are challenged by this point of pale light. Our planet is a lonely speck in the great enveloping cosmic dark. In our obscurity, in all this vastness, there is no hint that help will come from elsewhere to save us from ourselves. The Earth is the only world known so far to harbor life. There is nowhere else, at least in the near future, to which our species could migrate. Visit, yes. Settle, not yet. Like it or not, for the moment the Earth is where we make our stand. It has been said that astronomy is a humbling and character-building experience. There is perhaps no better demonstration of the folly of human conceits than this distant image of our tiny world. To me, it underscores our responsibility to deal more kindly with one another, and to preserve and cherish the pale blue dot, the only home we've ever known."
-Carl Sagan

Envisioning his reentry through Earth′s Atmosphere into The Atlantic Ocean - Through Optimism
Progress, because we're closing the distance.
We shout, yet offer little resistance.
Reach out, to this new world,
With persistence!
Maybe we′ve been crossing a line, from which we cannot return?
I can see the space in between us, shrinking with every word...
Though we may seem closer together, we pull far...
From the heart.
The Dreaming Cosmonaut
Envisioning his reentry through Earth's Atmosphere into The Atlantic Ocean - Through Pessimism
The scent of flesh igniting rattles me,
Welcoming for the journey home,
Soaring winds of fire collect their fee,
On a body so mortal I'm losing control!
The Human Idealism
Breaking each barrier down,
We are all chasing renown,
Wearing a heavy crown,
Tearing horizons down.
The Human Realism
But is this place ours to invade?
Or are we on a lost crusade?
We feel the space between us fade.
The vast expanses have decayed!
The Dreaming Cosmonaut
Envisioning his reentry through Earth′s Atmosphere into The Atlantic Ocean - Through Realism
Don′t stand down, we hold our ground,
And preserve who we are.
Rebound, and hold our ground,
When we've been pushed too far.
So I never...
Stand down, I hold my ground,
I preserve who we are.
Rebound, I hold my ground,
When I′ve been pushed too far.
Don't stand down, we hold our ground,
And preserve who we are.
Rebound, and hold our ground,
When we′ve been pushed too far.
So I never...
Stand down, I hold my ground,
I preserve who we are.
Rebound, I hold my ground,
When I've been pushed too far.
BEEN PUSHED TOO FAR!
The song "Air Atlantic" by BEING begins with the image of a cosmonaut returning from an exploration in space and anticipating his descent into Earth's atmosphere, specifically the Atlantic Ocean. The lyrics suggest optimism and progress, as the distance between the cosmonaut and Earth lessen. However, there is also a hint of uncertainty and fear as he questions if he may have crossed a line from which there is no going back. The second verse is darker, with the cosmonaut experiencing a sense of mortality and loss of control as he approaches Earth. The lyrics then shift to the human experience, with the first stanza highlighting the idealism humans have when breaking down barriers, chasing recognition, and tearing horizons down. However, the second stanza questions our right to invade and suggests that our actions may be part of a lost crusade, with the vast expanses decaying. The final verse is back to the cosmonaut, portraying a sense of resilience and perseverance, with the repeated refrain of "Don't stand down, we hold our ground, and preserve who we are."
Overall, the song suggests a journey and questioning of our place in the universe. It draws parallels between the exploration of space and the human experience of breaking down barriers and questioning our existence.

I loved Spencer's vocals around this time. Reminds me a lot of Rody's style form Protest the Hero.

Significantly higher lol. And he held that shit too. I don't understand how it's even possible to be so fucking good, and yet according to this, he's yet to show the masses that he's far more insane than we ever knew lol. Which is saying a HELL of a lot!
