Belanova Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
La vida me invitó
Hacia otro lugar
Sin ti vez también me duele
Es lo mejor
Déjame irme
Déjame partir
Amor sabes que es lo mejor
Amor entiéndeme
Amor sabes que es lo mejor
Esperare que tu lo entiendas
Piensa que todo pasará
No debes de llorar
Las cosas son así
Sin ti vez también me duele
Amor sabes que es lo mejor
Amor entiéndeme
Amor sabes que es lo mejor
Esperare que tu lo entiendas
La vida tiene algo para ti
Me duele no ser yo
Lo siento niño debo de partir
Entiéndeme, entiéndeme
Amor oh, oh
The lyrics to Belanova's song "Niño" speak of the pain of parting ways with a loved one as life takes the singer to another place. The song initially addresses the titular "Niño," likely a term of endearment for the person being sung to, requesting that they understand the need to part ways. Despite the hurt that both parties feel, the singer acknowledges that leaving is for the best and pleads to be allowed to go. The lyrics reiterate the sentiment that the pain of separation is felt by both parties, but that it is necessary.
The chorus of the song then speaks directly to the "amor," or love, that the singer shares with the person being sung to. The lyrics repeat the idea that leaving is for the best, and begs the lover to understand this. The lyrics suggest that although the separation is difficult now, time will heal all things, and crying will not help. The final verse of the song acknowledges that although the parting is painful, the singer believes that there is a better life waiting for the listener, and that it is with regret that the singer must go.
Overall, the song can be seen as a plea for understanding and acceptance of the need for change and growth. It speaks to the pain of separation but also celebrates the potential for new beginnings.
