Geneva left the group shortly after the X Factor. Wardman was a contestant on reality TV show Shipwrecked: Battle of the Islands 2007. They all applied as solo candidates to the competition, but the judges, after a suggestion by Cowell, put them in a band qualifying for the Groups category in the 2010 edition of The X Factor in London, UK. For their qualifying song, their first ever together, they sang an acoustic version of George Michael's song "Faith". Belle Amie lasted until week 4 when they were eliminated after singing "Breakaway", losing out to Katie Waissel.
The girls are continuing without Lane and their new song "Girls Up" will be released 29 April 2011 via their website.

They could've tried to audition again the following years but they didn't. people who didn't make it sometimes do that. Even though they didn't, If they started their career from scratch, i'm sure it would've blown off already. (just my prediction).

Belle Amie walked so Little Mix could run. One Direction deserves every success and grew and improved massively. And they are all doing quality music solo and I look forward to their reunion, but at this stage and audition was a lot stronger and more complete. But it goes to show, there's a lot of factors that go into making a group successful and lasting.

I think this was probably their best performance. Like I think Simon kind of let them the down after putting all his work into one direction ( which I love and adore so incredibly much ) but like after this point they kinda dropped. They had potential as this video shows but it went to waste
