Bellevue was born in the summer of 2003 when Brent Hough (lead vocals, guitar) took his ever-growing collection of home recordings from Kingston to Toronto in the hopes of finding like-minded musicians. The currently line-up (as of May 2008) includes David Ritter on keys and percussion, Jordan Bruce on drums, Dan Snyder on Bass, and songwriter Brent Hough on guitar and vocals.
