Bemti's solo project carries melancholic and rustic elements mixed with influences from MPB (Brazilian Popular Music), contemporary, pop and alternative music. By using the unmistakable timbre of a "viola caipira" (a popular Brazilian countryside guitar) as a base for his songs, and considering it an "instrument of his soul", Bemti's music results in an unparalleled and unforgettable Brazilian contemporary urban indie folk.
In 2018 he released the music video for his first solo single "Gostar de Quem," from the album "era dois", featuring singers Johnny Hooker and Tuyo. The song deals with the difficulty of creating bonds from the point of view of a gay man in a context in which dating apps seem to make it difficult to make connections beyond the surface.
Bemti is also a founding member of the band Falso Coral (with Bela Moschkovich and Guilherme Giacomini), which mixes indie folk and dream pop. Bemti has also worked on "Aos Cubos" podcast project playing with Brazilian singers Silva, Ana Muller and Tiê.

Quero ver
Do outro lado
Se a gente aguenta
Tem o que?
Quero ver
Do outro lado
Quero ver
Do outro lado
Se a gente aguenta
Tem o que?
Quero ver
Do outro lado

The song "Outro" by Bemti is a reflective and introspective piece that touches on themes of change, resilience, and self-discovery. The lyrics delve into the singer's journey through life, as they navigate challenges and search for meaning and strength.
In the first verse, the singer compares their experiences to being caught in a storm, emphasizing the chaotic and unpredictable nature of life. Despite this, they express a glimpse of hope, reminiscing about a time when everything seemed good. This indicates a longing for a sense of stability and positivity.
The second verse uses vivid imagery to convey a feeling of vulnerability and longing for connection. The singer compares themselves to a child in a blackout, yearning for lights and the presence of others. This suggests a deep desire for warmth, companionship, and a sense of belonging.
The chorus repeats the lines "Quero ver do outro lado se a gente aguenta, tem o que?" which can be translated to "I want to see on the other side if we can endure, what do we have?". This repetition emphasizes a curiosity and determination to see if one can face and overcome the challenges life presents. It hints at an underlying need for resilience and the strength to persevere.
The following verses explore themes of faith, self-acceptance, and the acceptance of life's uncertainties. The singer contemplates the possibility of a new beginning, something unseen and untouched by anyone before. They see themselves as a force of change, willing to break boundaries and move forward despite feeling abandoned. This hints at a desire for personal growth and a willingness to embrace the unknown.
The bridge of the song introduces a momentary calm before the storm. The singer suggests that there may be a period of false tranquility that will bring about a shift in their hearts. This could either be due to some sort of victory or the impactful actions of their loved ones. However, they also express doubt in this outcome, acknowledging the fleetingness of time and the insignificance of their existence.
The final part of the song reflects on the strength to endure and the acceptance of the unbearable. The singer repeats the mantra-like phrase "Suportar o insuportável" (Endure the unbearable), expressing a fierce determination to find someone who will listen and understand. They convey a strong sense of resilience, having traveled extensively and conquered their fears. Life doesn't even want courage from me anymore) implies that the singer has faced numerous challenges and is no longer afraid to confront them.
The song concludes with the affirmation that sometimes all one can hope for is another day or a fresh start. The repeated chorus emphasizes the curiosity and determination to see what lies on the other side and whether they have what it takes to endure.
Overall, "Outro" by Bemti explores the themes of resilience, self-discovery, and the human ability to endure through challenging times. The lyrics reflect a journey through life's uncertainties and the longing for stability and growth. The song encourages the listener to ponder their own strength and resilience in the face of adversity.
