Background
Ben Haenow was born in 1985 and grew up in Croydon, UK, attending Spring Park Primary and then Edenham High School. He was in a band with his brother, Alex, called The Lost Audio. Prior to winning the UK X-Factor in 2014, Ben Haenow was a van driver.
After The Show
After winning the show, Ben went on to release his self-titled debut album Ben Haenow in 2015. This was preceded by the single Second Hand Heart which featured American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson.
In 2017, Ben released the new single Alive, which was followed by the tracks Forgive & Forget and Rising.
New single Falling Down was released on April 6, 2018.
His second album is due to be released in May, 2018. The name has not yet been revealed.

When my grandad passed away on the31st of march 2017, his funeral was on april 18th. me, my mother and my sister didnt go t his funeral but we did park the car along the rooad to the church. this was the song we where listening to as he drove past and we released ballons into the sky for him. this song always reminds me of him. I love you so much grandad and i will never forget you. I know that even though you are not here anymore you are always shining down on us. R.I.P Xxxxxxx
