Vazgeç vazgeçmekten kaderin böyle
Her şey değişmeden suçu hafifletsen
Çokta sevilmezsen zorlama öyle
Gitmekte tabiki kendi terciihin
Kalan gücüyle elin teninde
Hayat devam ediyor
Gelen seni soruyo
Kalan gücüyle elin teninde
Hayat devam ediyor
Olan bana oluyor
Gitmekte tabiki kendi terciihin
Kalan gücüyle elin teninde
Hayat devam ediyor
The lyrics of Bengü’s song “Gelen Seni Soruyor” speak about the fear of vulnerability in relationships and the struggle to maintain a connection with someone. The beginning of the song conveys the idea that the fear of being viewed as weak and powerless can prevent one from fully embracing love. The concept of fate is introduced as the reason for giving up on a relationship, instead of persevering through difficulty. The singer suggests that small changes can make a significant difference in a relationship and encourages the listener to avoid forcing love.
The second verse implies that leaving a relationship is a personal choice, and the remaining strength lies in physical touch. The chorus repeatedly expresses the question, “Gelen seni soruyor” which translates to “he/she who comes is asking about you,” implying a longing for the former lover. The phrase “Olan bana oluyor” translates to “what is happening to me is happening” and suggests a hint of resignation and acceptance.
Overall, the song portrays the struggle with remaining in a relationship, fear of vulnerability, and the inner conflict associated with these emotions.

Were you scared to love? To seem weak?
Give up on giving up, this is your destiny
Wish you could ease your fault before everything is changed (messed up)
If you're not loved much don't push your luck like that
Of course leaving (breaking up) is your own decision
With the strength left inside ( with its last effort), your hand on your skin
Life goes on
What a love that was! its still with me,
Whoever drops by is askin me about you
With the strength left inside you, with your hand on your skin
Life goes on
What a love that was! its still with me,
Whatever happens is happening to me ( I'm the one who is going through all this pain )
