Benita’s debut EP “SCARLET” was released in March 2022 with 4 official music videos to go along with it. The project also gained recognition on many platforms including Lyrical Lemonade, Major Stage, SideDoor and was featured on the cover of “Ripple Effect”, “The Newness” on Spotify. In 2019, Benita reached the top 10 list of CBC's Canada wide Searchlight competition for her debut single "Anything" and then graduated from the Recording Arts program at The Remix Project. She has also been featured on BBC Radio One and BBC 1Xtra for her track “Toxic.”
Her proudest moment to date was performing at the Budweiser Stage and opening for DVSN for the annual MANIFESTO Festival which she was also invited by eTalk to do an interview about her experience. Benita has only scratched the surface and will continue to inspire listeners with rawness in her music.
